Muurahaisen elektronimikroskooppikuvassa n\u00e4kyvien hengitysaukkojen tarkastelu voi puolestaan johtaa oivallukseen siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 samanlaisia hengityselimi\u00e4 esiintyy my\u00f6s muilla hy\u00f6nteisill\u00e4.<\/li>\n<li>Elektronimikroskooppikuvat ja 3D-mallit tarjoavat konkreettisen esimerkin siit\u00e4, miten tutkijat p\u00e4\u00e4sev\u00e4t tutkimaan eli\u00f6iden mikroskooppista maailmaa.
