Koska sain vastata ohjelman tiedeosuudesta, p\u00e4\u00e4sin mukaan jo suunnitteluvaiheessa. Aiheeseen on helppo p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 mukaan niin lasten kuin aikuistenkin, mutta samalla se tarjoaa erinomaisen mahdollisuuden her\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 kiinnostusta fysiikan syv\u00e4llisempiin ilmi\u00f6ihin. Itse haluan jakaa tieteen hauskan ja ihmeellisen maailman mahdollisimman monien ihmisten kanssa ja innostaa heit\u00e4 uteliaiksi. T\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa p\u00e4\u00e4sin kuitenkin pit\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n heille kokonaisen oppitunnin ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n samalla erilaisia kokeiluv\u00e4lineit\u00e4. Kaikkea ei valitettavasti n\u00e4hty lopullisessa ohjelmassa: teimme esimerkiksi daruma-otoshi-lelun kokeen, kokeilimme ilmatyynyalusta ja pidimme my\u00f6s ihan tavallista fysiikan oppituntia. Yritin kaikin tavoin saada heid\u00e4t ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, mist\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 kaikessa oli kyse.<\/p>\n<p>Yksi t\u00e4m\u00e4n kokeen avainasioista on <b>hitaus<\/b>. Jos astiat olisivat olleet hieman painavampia, niiden hitaus olisi ollut suurempi ja ne olisivat paremmin vastustaneet ryppyjen aiheuttamaa liikett\u00e4. N\u00e4in onnistumisen mahdollisuus olisi todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isesti kasvanut. Esimerkiksi lautasen p\u00e4\u00e4lle olisi voinut laittaa omenan tai veitsen ja haarukan sijaan j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 ruokailuv\u00e4lineet kokonaan pois.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3010Uusi mahdollisuus!\u3011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Haaste on eritt\u00e4in vaikea, mutta seuraavalla kerralla voisimme esimerkiksi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 12 metrin pituista yhten\u00e4ist\u00e4 p\u00f6yt\u00e4levy\u00e4 ilman saumoja. Toinen vaihtoehto olisi asettaa toinen kangas p\u00f6yt\u00e4liinan alle ja kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 se paikalleen. Kokeissa ep\u00e4onnistumiset kuuluvat asiaan \u2013 haluaisin ehdottomasti yritt\u00e4\u00e4 viel\u00e4 kerran!<\/p>\n<p>Alun perin kuvittelin, ett\u00e4 saisimme uuden mahdollisuuden, mutta eri k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n syist\u00e4 koe voitiin tehd\u00e4 vain kerran, ja siihen oli tyytyminen. <strong>Se j\u00e4i todella harmittamaan.<\/strong> Toisaalta, jos ajattelee asiaa niin, ett\u00e4 saimme j\u00e4lleen yhden uuden aineiston ja yhden uuden datapisteen, oli kyseess\u00e4 loppujen lopuksi eritt\u00e4in hyv\u00e4 kokeellinen tutkimus.<\/p>\n<h3>Joka p\u00e4iv\u00e4 on kokeilup\u00e4iv\u00e4.<\/h3>\n<p>Kuvausaikataulun vuoksi meill\u00e4 oli vain yksi mahdollisuus. On todella harmillista, ettemme p\u00e4\u00e4sseet yritt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n uudelleen, mutta t\u00e4llaista todellisuus joskus on.<\/p>\n<p>Kokeissa ei oikeastaan ole olemassa \u201dep\u00e4onnistumisia\u201d. On vain <b>dataa siit\u00e4, mik\u00e4 ei toiminut t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa<\/b>. Otimme vastaan 12 metrin ennenn\u00e4kem\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4n haasteen laskelmien ja teorian avulla, mutta odottamaton fysiikan ilmi\u00f6, \u201dryppy\u201d, pys\u00e4ytti meid\u00e4t. T\u00e4m\u00e4 kokemus on kuitenkin varma askel kohti seuraavaa onnistumista.<\/p>\n<p>Sama p\u00e4tee meid\u00e4n kaikkien arkeen.
