Saippuan valmistuksessa siis k\u00e4ynnist\u00e4mme tarkoituksella omin k\u00e4sin kemiallisen reaktion, joka hajottaa rasvaa, ja muutamme sen saippuaksi.<\/p>\n<p>Katsotaan seuraavaksi t\u00e4m\u00e4n reaktioyht\u00e4l\u00f6n p\u00e4\u00e4henkil\u00f6t yksi kerrallaan vasemmalta oikealle.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Triglyseridi (rasva\u00f6ljy)<\/b> Se on juuri sit\u00e4 ainetta, jota tavallisesti kutsumme \u201drasvatahraksi\u201d. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 kokeessa k\u00e4ytimme ruoka\u00f6ljy\u00e4.<\/li>\n<li><b>Natriumhydroksidi (vahva em\u00e4s)<\/b> Se toimii ik\u00e4\u00e4n kuin \u201dhy\u00f6kk\u00e4\u00e4j\u00e4n\u00e4\u201d, joka hajottaa rasvan. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytimme voimakasta natriumhydroksidia, mutta siivouksessa k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s miedompia em\u00e4ksisi\u00e4 aineita, kuten ruokasoodaa ja seskikarbonaattia.<\/li>\n<li><b>Glyseroli<\/b> Se on kosteuttava aine, jota k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n esimerkiksi kasvovesiss\u00e4 ja muissa kosmetiikkatuotteissa. T\u00e4t\u00e4 reaktiota kutsutaan saippuoitumiseksi eli saippuoitumisreaktioksi. Kyseess\u00e4 on kemiallinen reaktio, jossa rasva (triglyseridi) reagoi vahvan em\u00e4ksen, kuten natriumhydroksidin, kanssa ja hajoaa saippuaksi (rasvahapon suolaksi) sek\u00e4 glyseroliksi.<\/p>\n<p>Juuri t\u00e4m\u00e4 kemiallinen reaktio on yksi siivouksen perusperiaatteista.
