Despu\u00e9s dej\u00e9 la tela manchada en remojo durante aproximadamente una hora. \u00a1El resultado fue bastante impresionante!<br \/>\nPens\u00e9: \u00ab\u00bfY si la dejamos un poco m\u00e1s?\u00bb. As\u00ed que la dej\u00e9 en remojo durante todo un d\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n es muy \u00fatil para desinfectar la ropa, limpiar la lavadora y lavar la ba\u00f1era, las tuber\u00edas de la ba\u00f1era y los accesorios del ba\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es exactamente el percarbonato de sodio?<\/h3>\n<p>Puede que algunos de vosotros escuch\u00e9is por primera vez el nombre \u00abpercarbonato de sodio\u00bb. En japon\u00e9s se pronuncia \u00abkatansan\u00bb. En ingl\u00e9s se llama \u00abSodium percarbonate\u00bb. Su nombre qu\u00edmico oficial es per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno carbonato de sodio (<a href=\"https:\/\/ja.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%E7%82%AD%E9%85%B8%E3%83%8A%E3%83%88%E3%83%AA%E3%82%A6%E3%83%A0%E9%81%8E%E9%85%B8%E5%8C%96%E6%B0%B4%E7%B4%A0%E5%8C%96%E7%89%A9\">wikipedia<\/a>).<br \/>\nSu f\u00f3rmula qu\u00edmica es <b>2Na\u2082CO\u2083\u30fb3H\u2082O\u2082<\/b>, una combinaci\u00f3n que puede parecer un poco intimidante. Pero, en realidad, est\u00e1 formada por dos sustancias conocidas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carbonato de sodio (Na\u2082CO\u2083): pertenece a la misma familia que el bicarbonato de sodio y tambi\u00e9n se utiliza habitualmente para limpiar.<\/li>\n<li>Per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno (H\u2082O\u2082): es uno de los componentes del agua oxigenada que se utiliza como desinfectante. Tambi\u00e9n aparece en experimentos como la famosa \u00abpasta de dientes de elefante\u00bb. En concentraciones elevadas, puede ser una sustancia peligrosa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Estas dos sustancias est\u00e1n unidas formando un \u00fanico polvo. Cuando diferentes sustancias se combinan de esta manera manteniendo su estructura original, se habla de un \u00abcompuesto de adici\u00f3n\u00bb. Precisamente por eso es uno de los principales componentes de los blanqueadores con ox\u00edgeno activo, como OxiClean.<br \/>\nCuando el per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno se descompone, se transforma en agua y ox\u00edgeno. Si ponemos la ropa en agua a unos 40\u201350 \u00b0C, se forman muchas burbujas y la reacci\u00f3n avanza con mayor facilidad, lo que aumenta el poder de limpieza y blanqueamiento.<br \/>\nAdem\u00e1s, cuando el per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno se descompone, genera un fuerte \u00abpoder oxidante\u00bb. Esta capacidad oxidante destruye la estructura de las mol\u00e9culas responsables del color de la mancha, haciendo que el color desaparezca poco a poco.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1La alcalinidad del carbonato de sodio tambi\u00e9n juega un papel importante!<\/h3>\n<p>La sangre contiene una gran cantidad de \u00abprote\u00ednas\u00bb. Cuando el percarbonato de sodio se disuelve en agua, la soluci\u00f3n se vuelve ligeramente alcalina, debido a las propiedades del carbonato de sodio. Esta alcalinidad ayuda a que las prote\u00ednas se \u00abhinchen\u00bb mediante un fen\u00f3meno llamado \u00abhinchamiento\u00bb.<br \/>\n\u00bfY qu\u00e9 significa eso? Pues que una sustancia absorbe agua y aumenta de volumen. Cuando las prote\u00ednas absorben agua y se hinchan, la suciedad que estaba adherida a las fibras se afloja y resulta m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil que se desprenda.<br \/>\nEn otras palabras, aqu\u00ed tenemos un aut\u00e9ntico trabajo en equipo: por un lado, la alcalinidad ayuda a aflojar la suciedad y, por otro, el poder oxidante destruye las sustancias responsables del color. \u00a1La combinaci\u00f3n de ambos mecanismos permite eliminar incluso las manchas de sangre m\u00e1s rebeldes!<br \/>\nCuando hablamos de sustancias alcalinas, muchas personas piensan inmediatamente en el bicarbonato de sodio. Las sustancias alcalinas pueden ayudar a eliminar diferentes tipos de suciedad:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grasa y sebo \u2192 los transforman en sustancias similares al jab\u00f3n, facilitando su descomposici\u00f3n y eliminaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Manchas de prote\u00ednas (sangre, sudor, etc.) \u2192 hacen que se hinchen y se desprendan m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente de las fibras.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El percarbonato de sodio se vende directamente en forma de polvo y tambi\u00e9n se encuentra como ingrediente en muchos productos de limpieza.
