Cada d\u00eda es un experimento.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cada ma\u00f1ana nos miramos al espejo del ba\u00f1o. En la ventana del tren vemos reflejado el paisaje. En un charco aparece el cielo. Sin darnos cuenta, vivimos rodeados de reflejos de la luz. Pero, si alguien nos preguntara: &#8220;\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 un espejo refleja los objetos?&#8221;, probablemente no ser\u00eda tan f\u00e1cil responder. En este art\u00edculo vamos a descubrir la ley de la reflexi\u00f3n, no solo como una f\u00f3rmula del libro de texto, sino mediante un experimento que podr\u00e1s comprobar con tus propios ojos y tus propias manos.<\/p>\n<h3>Lo dif\u00edcil que es &#8220;sentir&#8221; c\u00f3mo se refleja la luz<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando llega el momento de ense\u00f1ar la ley de la reflexi\u00f3n o la reflexi\u00f3n difusa, muchas veces las definiciones del libro no consiguen despertar el inter\u00e9s de los alumnos. \u00bfNo te ha pasado alguna vez esa sensaci\u00f3n de frustraci\u00f3n? Aunque les expliquemos que &#8220;la luz rebota como una pelota sobre un espejo&#8221; o que &#8220;una superficie rugosa dispersa la luz en muchas direcciones&#8221;, lograr que realmente digan &#8220;\u00a1Ahora lo entiendo!&#8221; es mucho m\u00e1s complicado de lo que parece. Por eso es tan importante comprobarlo mediante un experimento.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00ed tambi\u00e9n me ocurr\u00eda que siempre me preguntaba si mis alumnos hab\u00edan comprendido de verdad lo que estaban observando. Este experimento no solo sirve para aprender un concepto; tambi\u00e9n desarrolla la capacidad de observaci\u00f3n y el pensamiento cient\u00edfico. Al comprobar con sus propios ojos el extra\u00f1o comportamiento de la luz, la curiosidad cient\u00edfica crece de forma natural y la asignatura de ciencias resulta mucho m\u00e1s interesante.<\/p>\n<p>Como curiosidad, se dice que el primero en dejar constancia escrita de la ley de la reflexi\u00f3n fue el matem\u00e1tico griego Euclides. Ya alrededor del a\u00f1o 300 a. C. se conoc\u00eda que el \u00e1ngulo de incidencia y el \u00e1ngulo de reflexi\u00f3n son iguales. \u00a1Hace m\u00e1s de dos mil a\u00f1os que la humanidad ya se maravillaba con los misterios de los espejos!<\/p>\n<h3>Materiales<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Fuente de luz (preferiblemente capaz de emitir un haz paralelo)<\/b>: Lo ideal es que el recorrido de la luz sea claramente visible. Tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse un puntero l\u00e1ser, aunque conviene tener en cuenta c\u00f3mo se dispersa el haz.<\/li>\n<li><b>Espejo plano<\/b>: Puede ser un espejo de mano o uno de laboratorio. Basta con dibujar un transportador grande sobre una hoja y marcar el lugar donde ir\u00e1 el espejo. La hoja que utilizo tiene l\u00edneas cada 15 grados, lo que facilita mucho las mediciones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Procedimiento<\/h3>\n<p>Haz incidir el rayo de luz sobre el espejo plano y mide el \u00e1ngulo de incidencia y el \u00e1ngulo de reflexi\u00f3n. Lo m\u00e1s importante es que los alumnos se concentren en realizar una medici\u00f3n precisa. En la siguiente imagen se utiliz\u00f3 un equipo experimental de Narika.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-48613\" src=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/a6eddff7e2e82220299cabc777cc10e5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"503\" height=\"432\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La raz\u00f3n es que estos espejos est\u00e1n recubiertos por una fina capa de pl\u00e1stico que protege la superficie reflectante. Con \u00e1ngulos peque\u00f1os apenas se aprecia el efecto, pero cuanto mayor es el \u00e1ngulo de incidencia, m\u00e1s recorrido hace la luz dentro del pl\u00e1stico y mayor es la desviaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, al convertir los datos en una gr\u00e1fica, salta inmediatamente a la vista que las diferencias aparecen \u00fanicamente con los \u00e1ngulos grandes.
