Cada d\u00eda es un nuevo experimento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>La electr\u00f3lisis del agua es uno de esos experimentos cl\u00e1sicos que nunca dejan de sorprender. En esta ocasi\u00f3n utilizamos un tubo en H, un material que hace que la demostraci\u00f3n sea mucho m\u00e1s espectacular y que permite comprender de forma visual la relaci\u00f3n entre lo que ocurre en el laboratorio y la f\u00f3rmula qu\u00edmica del agua.<\/p>\n<p>Ese peque\u00f1o &#8220;\u00a1pop!&#8221; que se escucha al final del experimento es uno de esos momentos que hacen latir m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido el coraz\u00f3n de cualquier amante de la ciencia. Junto con el profesor T realizamos la <b>electr\u00f3lisis del agua<\/b> utilizando un tubo en H. Como est\u00e1 fabricado en vidrio, es bastante caro y adem\u00e1s puede romperse f\u00e1cilmente si no se manipula con cuidado. Permite extraer directamente los gases mediante sus llaves de paso y, sobre todo, su mayor tama\u00f1o hace que el experimento resulte mucho m\u00e1s <b>impactante visualmente<\/b>. Para una demostraci\u00f3n delante de toda la clase, es un instrumento realmente magn\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<h3>El hermoso secreto de la proporci\u00f3n 1:2<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando hacemos pasar corriente el\u00e9ctrica, comienzan a formarse ox\u00edgeno en el \u00e1nodo e hidr\u00f3geno en el c\u00e1todo. Es la prueba visible de que la f\u00f3rmula del agua es H\u2082O: cada mol\u00e9cula est\u00e1 formada por dos \u00e1tomos de hidr\u00f3geno y uno de ox\u00edgeno. Lo m\u00e1s fascinante de este experimento es precisamente eso: las reglas invisibles del mundo de los \u00e1tomos aparecen delante de nuestros ojos convertidas en una cantidad de gas que s\u00ed podemos medir y observar. Es una forma maravillosa de hacer visible lo invisible.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurre al acercar una llama?<\/h3>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s lleg\u00f3 el momento m\u00e1s esperado: acercamos una llama a cada uno de los gases obtenidos.
