Cuando escuchas la frase &#8220;vamos a diseccionar un calamar&#8221;, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es lo primero que piensas? Seguramente muchos dir\u00e1n: &#8220;\u00bfUn calamar? \u00bfEl mismo que comemos en la cena?&#8221;. Sin embargo, cuando dejamos a un lado el bistur\u00ed y usamos unas simples tijeras de cocina para abrirlo, descubrimos un mundo fascinante, mucho m\u00e1s complejo de lo que hab\u00edamos imaginado. Pero cuando descubren que el objeto de estudio es el mismo calamar que suele aparecer en la mesa durante la cena, los nervios desaparecen casi por completo. Adem\u00e1s, el calamar tiene los \u00f3rganos internos bien organizados y resulta muy f\u00e1cil de manipular, por lo que es una opci\u00f3n excelente para una primera disecci\u00f3n. Aprovechamos una sesi\u00f3n del club para trabajar juntos, comentando cada descubrimiento entre todos, en un ambiente relajado y lleno de curiosidad.<\/p>\n<h3>Materiales y referencia<\/h3>\n<p>Para realizar esta actividad utilizamos los siguientes materiales.<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbUn calamar japon\u00e9s (surume ika) apto para consumo, fresco o congelado (idealmente uno por persona o por grupo)<br \/>\n\u30fbTijeras de cocina<br \/>\n\u30fbPinzas<br \/>\n\u30fbUna bandeja o un cart\u00f3n de leche abierto<br \/>\n\u30fbGuantes de pl\u00e1stico y papel de peri\u00f3dico<br \/>\n\u30fbSalsa de soja (para observar el est\u00f3mago)<\/p>\n<p>Como gu\u00eda seguimos un v\u00eddeo de disecci\u00f3n disponible en YouTube. A diferencia de cuando se cocina, aqu\u00ed el objetivo no era preparar la comida, sino observar con calma y preguntarnos: &#8220;\u00bfC\u00f3mo estar\u00e1 organizado por dentro?&#8221;. Esa es precisamente la parte m\u00e1s apasionante de una disecci\u00f3n. El l\u00edquido fue rellenando el est\u00f3mago y permiti\u00f3 distinguir claramente tanto su forma como su estructura interna. Es fascinante pensar que dos grupos de seres vivos que evolucionaron por caminos completamente distintos hayan terminado desarrollando \u00f3rganos visuales tan similares. Este fen\u00f3meno recibe el nombre de &#8220;evoluci\u00f3n convergente&#8221; y es uno de los ejemplos m\u00e1s interesantes que estudia la biolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Y, por supuesto, llegamos a la parte m\u00e1s famosa del calamar: la <b>bolsa de tinta<\/b>. Gracias a su viscosidad mantiene cierta forma bajo el agua, creando una especie de se\u00f1uelo que puede confundir al enemigo y darle al calamar unos valiosos segundos para huir.<\/p>\n<p>Nada de esto puede apreciarse realmente solo con los dibujos o fotograf\u00edas de un libro de texto. Ver con nuestros propios ojos c\u00f3mo la estructura de cada \u00f3rgano est\u00e1 directamente relacionada con su funci\u00f3n fue, sin duda, el mayor atractivo de esta experiencia.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 fue tan f\u00e1cil incluso siendo la primera disecci\u00f3n?<\/h3>\n<p>En realidad, era la primera vez que el club de ciencias realizaba una disecci\u00f3n de este tipo. Aun as\u00ed, los estudiantes trabajaron con mucha tranquilidad y seguridad. Fue una excelente demostraci\u00f3n de lo importante que es avanzar paso a paso y adquirir experiencia de manera gradual.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque la disecci\u00f3n suele verse como una actividad especial dentro de las clases de ciencias, en realidad re\u00fane algunos de los elementos m\u00e1s importantes del trabajo cient\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 tendr\u00e1 esta forma?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u00bfQu\u00e9 funci\u00f3n cumpl\u00eda exactamente este \u00f3rgano?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Responder a preguntas tan sencillas lleva a descubrir no solo lo ingenioso que es el cuerpo de los seres vivos, sino tambi\u00e9n a valorar la importancia y el respeto que merece la vida.<\/p>\n<p>La disecci\u00f3n del calamar combina tres grandes ventajas: es f\u00e1cil de realizar, ofrece much\u00edsimos descubrimientos y resulta segura para los estudiantes. Es un recurso did\u00e1ctico de enorme valor, tanto para un club de ciencias como para las clases de ciencias naturales. Si tienen la oportunidad, an\u00edmense a probarla.
