Ensimm\u00e4inen niist\u00e4 on seisminen eristys.<\/p>\n<p>Ajatuksena on sijoittaa rakennuksen perustusten ja maan v\u00e4liin erityisi\u00e4 kumikerroksia tai muita joustavia materiaaleja. N\u00e4in rakennus ei seuraa maan liikkeit\u00e4 suoraan, vaikka maa t\u00e4risisi rajusti.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4 rakennuksen alle asetettiin pingispalloja. Kun alustaa ravisteltiin, rakennus heilui vain hyvin v\u00e4h\u00e4n. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 l\u00e4hestymistapa on t\u00e4ysin p\u00e4invastainen: rakennus ottaa t\u00e4rin\u00e4n vastaan, mutta on rakennettu niin vahvaksi, ettei se romahda.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e4h\u00e4n on kaksi p\u00e4\u00e4periaatetta. Ensimm\u00e4inen on j\u00e4ykk\u00e4 rakenne, jossa rakennus tehd\u00e4\u00e4n mahdollisimman tukevaksi, jotta se liikkuu mahdollisimman v\u00e4h\u00e4n. Tarkoituksena ei ole est\u00e4\u00e4 rakennuksen liikett\u00e4 kokonaan, vaan pienent\u00e4\u00e4 sit\u00e4 tehokkaasti \u2013 aivan kuin rakennukseen olisi asennettu n\u00e4kym\u00e4t\u00f6n jarru.<\/p>\n<p>Yksi tunnetuimmista ratkaisuista on Shimizu Corporationin kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shimz.co.jp\/solution\/tech039\/index.html\">Sloshing Damper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pilvenpiirt\u00e4j\u00e4n yl\u00e4osiin sijoitetaan suuri vesis\u00e4ili\u00f6. Kun rakennus alkaa heilua, s\u00e4ili\u00f6ss\u00e4 oleva vesi liikkuu vastakkaiseen suuntaan. T\u00e4m\u00e4 vastaliike vaimentaa rakennuksen liikett\u00e4 ja pienent\u00e4\u00e4 sen heilahtelua.
