Cada d\u00eda es un experimento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfSab\u00edas que entre la corriente y el voltaje existe, en realidad, un peque\u00f1o \u201cdesfase de tiempo\u201d?<\/h3>\n<p>La electricidad que llega desde un enchufe\u2026 \u00bfalguna vez has imaginado que, aunque no podamos verlo, el voltaje y la corriente pueden estar movi\u00e9ndose con cierto \u201cdesajuste\u201d entre ellos? Usamos la electricidad todos los d\u00edas casi sin pensar, pero en realidad su verdadera naturaleza es la de una \u201ccorriente alterna\u201d, una onda que sube y baja continuamente. Y el momento en que aparecen esas ondas puede cambiar ligeramente dependiendo del componente el\u00e9ctrico, haciendo que a veces est\u00e9n perfectamente sincronizadas y otras veces no.<\/p>\n<p>En este experimento vamos a hacer visible ese \u201cmovimiento oculto\u201d de la electricidad utilizando un sensor (EasySense) para observarlo con nuestros propios ojos.<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n medimos la diferencia de fase entre la corriente y el voltaje cuando aplicamos una tensi\u00f3n alterna a una bobina. El tiempo de medici\u00f3n fue de 500 ms y utilizamos una frecuencia de muestreo de 1000, una configuraci\u00f3n bastante detallada (mir\u00e1ndolo ahora, quiz\u00e1 unos 100 ms habr\u00edan permitido ver mejor la forma de las ondas). Tanto los picos como los valles aparecen exactamente al mismo tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto ocurre porque una resistencia simplemente tiene la funci\u00f3n de \u201cdificultar\u201d el paso de la electricidad, sin producir otros efectos especiales. Cuando el voltaje aumenta, la corriente tambi\u00e9n aumenta inmediatamente. Es una relaci\u00f3n muy directa y sencilla.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Pero con una bobina todo cambia! El voltaje se adelanta y la corriente lo sigue<\/h3>\n<p>Sin embargo, cuando aplicamos la misma corriente alterna a una bobina, aparece un comportamiento completamente diferente.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-37554 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/43e025055848fdb83e874f387614e214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"473\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/43e025055848fdb83e874f387614e214.jpg 916w, https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/43e025055848fdb83e874f387614e214-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/43e025055848fdb83e874f387614e214-768x555.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Si observamos bien este gr\u00e1fico, veremos que primero aparece el m\u00e1ximo del voltaje y, despu\u00e9s, como sigui\u00e9ndolo, aparece el m\u00e1ximo de la corriente.<\/p>\n<p>Es como si en un juego de persecuci\u00f3n el voltaje saliera corriendo primero y la corriente tuviera que ir detr\u00e1s unos pasos m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p>\n<p>Este \u201cretraso\u201d es exactamente de 90 grados. Es decir, desde el momento en que el voltaje alcanza su valor m\u00e1ximo, la corriente tarda un cuarto de ciclo de la onda en alcanzar tambi\u00e9n su m\u00e1ximo.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 solo en una bobina la corriente se retrasa?<\/h3>\n<p>Detr\u00e1s de este curioso fen\u00f3meno est\u00e1 una caracter\u00edstica propia de las bobinas.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando circula corriente por una bobina, se genera un campo magn\u00e9tico a su alrededor. Si esa corriente cambia continuamente, como ocurre con la corriente alterna, el campo magn\u00e9tico tambi\u00e9n cambia constantemente.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces la propia bobina produce un fen\u00f3meno llamado <b>autoinducci\u00f3n<\/b>, mediante el cual intenta \u201coponerse a los cambios de la corriente\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Podemos imaginarlo como un freno para la corriente. Aunque el voltaje diga \u201c\u00a1vamos, corriente, aumenta!\u201d, la fuerza electromotriz en sentido contrario que genera la bobina (fuerza contraelectromotriz) frena ese cambio.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso la corriente no puede responder inmediatamente y termina llegando un poco m\u00e1s tarde. Esa peque\u00f1a demora es justamente lo que podemos observar como una diferencia de fase de 90 grados.<\/p>\n<h3>Esta propiedad de las bobinas est\u00e1 presente en muchos lugares de nuestra vida diaria<\/h3>\n<p>La caracter\u00edstica de las bobinas no es algo que solo se vea en un laboratorio.<\/p>\n<p>Por ejemplo, se utilizan en los balastos de los tubos fluorescentes, transformadores, motores, altavoces e incluso en los sistemas de carga inal\u00e1mbrica de los tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes. Hay una enorme cantidad de dispositivos el\u00e9ctricos que utilizan bobinas.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de estos aparatos, se aprovecha esta diferencia de tiempo entre el voltaje y la corriente (diferencia de fase), o se dise\u00f1an sistemas para reducir las p\u00e9rdidas causadas por ese desfase, ayudando a que nuestra vida sea m\u00e1s c\u00f3moda.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque normalmente no podemos ver el mundo de la electricidad, cuando usamos sensores y convertimos estos fen\u00f3menos en gr\u00e1ficos podemos descubrir que el voltaje y la corriente, como si fueran dos protagonistas de una danza, avanzan ajustando o cambiando ligeramente sus tiempos de movimiento.<\/p>\n<h3>Consultas y solicitudes<\/h3>\n<p>\u00a1Acerca las maravillas y la diversi\u00f3n de la ciencia a tu vida cotidiana!
