T\u00e4t\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6t\u00e4 kutsutaan itseinduktioksi. Toisin sanoen laite ker\u00e4si per\u00e4ti 2000 datapistett\u00e4 yhden sekunnin aikana. N\u00e4in tarkalla mittauksella voidaan n\u00e4hd\u00e4 my\u00f6s sellaiset virran muutokset, jotka n\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4t paljaalle silm\u00e4lle vain v\u00e4l\u00e4hdykselt\u00e4. Kun kelan l\u00e4pi kulkeva virta yritt\u00e4\u00e4 muuttua, kela synnytt\u00e4\u00e4 s\u00e4hk\u00f6motorisen voiman, joka vastustaa tuota muutosta. Tavallaan kelalla on s\u00e4hk\u00f6inen versio inertian kaltaisesta ominaisuudesta: se ei pid\u00e4 \u00e4killisist\u00e4 muutoksista.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e4m\u00e4 ei ole pelk\u00e4st\u00e4\u00e4n laboratoriossa n\u00e4ht\u00e4v\u00e4 ilmi\u00f6.
