Cada d\u00eda es un experimento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Invisible a los ojos, pero definitivamente ah\u00ed. Eso es la &#8220;corriente el\u00e9ctrica&#8221;. Enciendes un interruptor y se ilumina una bombilla, gira un motor. Pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 es exactamente?<\/span> Tras aprender los circuitos el\u00e9ctricos, lleg\u00f3 el turno del amper\u00edmetro. En la tercera clase de circuitos el\u00e9ctricos comenzamos trabajando con la corriente. Usando una bombilla incandescente y una LED, probamos qu\u00e9 pasaba al intercambiar los terminales positivo y negativo de la bater\u00eda.<br \/>\nLa bombilla incandescente no cambiaba en absoluto, pero la LED se encend\u00eda y apagaba seg\u00fan c\u00f3mo se conectara. Ah\u00ed los estudiantes empezaron a intuir: &#8220;\u00bfQuiz\u00e1s algo fluye en una sola direcci\u00f3n?&#8221;. Al experimentar con un motor, comprobaron que la direcci\u00f3n de giro cambiaba seg\u00fan la conexi\u00f3n. De ah\u00ed concluimos que la corriente tiene una direcci\u00f3n definida, aunque todav\u00eda no sab\u00edamos exactamente cu\u00e1l.<br \/>\nNaturalmente surgi\u00f3 otra pregunta: &#8220;\u00bfCu\u00e1nta corriente fluye?&#8221;. Y aqu\u00ed entra en escena el amper\u00edmetro.<\/p>\n<h3>El primer encuentro con el instrumento que mide la corriente<\/h3>\n<p>Como el amper\u00edmetro anal\u00f3gico aparece en los libros de problemas, expliqu\u00e9 c\u00f3mo usarlo. En nuestra escuela tambi\u00e9n contamos con un miniamper\u00edmetro llamado Petit Meter, as\u00ed que aclar\u00e9 de entrada que solo explicar\u00eda el anal\u00f3gico esta vez. Con el Petit Meter no hay que preocuparse por interpretar una aguja: simplemente lees el valor que aparece en la pantalla. Varios estudiantes que hab\u00edan tenido dificultades con el anal\u00f3gico suspiraron aliviados.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Siente el poder de la corriente con un generador manual!<\/h3>\n<p>Algo que recomiendo especialmente es conectar un generador de manivela al amper\u00edmetro. Por mucho que nos esforz\u00e1ramos, la aguja apenas se mov\u00eda. Pero al cambiar al terminal de 500 mA o 50 mA, todo cambiaba. En ese momento, la pregunta surge sola: &#8220;\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si gir\u00e1ramos a toda velocidad?&#8221;. La respuesta llega de forma natural: la aguja se ir\u00eda al l\u00edmite y el aparato se romper\u00eda.<\/p>\n<h3>El protocolo para proteger un sensor muy delicado<\/h3>\n<p>El terminal de 50 mA del amper\u00edmetro est\u00e1 construido con una sensibilidad extraordinaria para medir corrientes muy d\u00e9biles. Es como poner una mochila llena de libros sobre una b\u00e1scula de cocina: se estropea al instante. Por eso es tan importante empezar siempre por el rango mayor (5 A).<br \/>\nEsto no es un simple reglamento arbitrario. Es la sabidur\u00eda acumulada para proteger los instrumentos de corrientes desconocidas. A trav\u00e9s de experiencias como esta, los estudiantes no solo aprenden el &#8220;qu\u00e9&#8221; sino el &#8220;por qu\u00e9&#8221;. El conocimiento deja de ser memorizaci\u00f3n y se convierte en algo que se siente en la piel.
