Si colocas el <b>marcador de flecha<\/b> en cualquier punto de la pantalla, podr\u00e1s observar cu\u00e1nto tiempo tarda la onda en volver a la misma fase (la misma forma de vibraci\u00f3n). No se trata simplemente de memorizar una f\u00f3rmula, sino de comprenderla a trav\u00e9s de la experiencia. Esa es precisamente su mayor fortaleza.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 las animaciones ayudan tanto a entender las ondas?<\/h3>\n<p>Las ondas tienen dos caracter\u00edsticas fundamentales: una <b>dimensi\u00f3n espacial<\/b> (la forma que tienen en un instante determinado) y una <b>dimensi\u00f3n temporal<\/b> (c\u00f3mo cambian y se desplazan con el tiempo).<\/p>\n<p>El problema es que los diagramas de los libros son im\u00e1genes est\u00e1ticas. Intentar imaginar una onda en movimiento a partir de un dibujo inm\u00f3vil no siempre es sencillo. Este simulador permite experimentar al mismo tiempo los cambios en el espacio y en el tiempo, algo que los textos y las ilustraciones fijas dif\u00edcilmente pueden lograr.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, las simulaciones animadas de ondas son herramientas de visualizaci\u00f3n esenciales utilizadas por investigadores en campos como la ac\u00fastica, la sismolog\u00eda y la \u00f3ptica.
