Pues en realidad\u2026 \u00a1es un <b>ping\u00fcino<\/b>!<br \/>\nLa grabaci\u00f3n fue tomada desde abajo del enorme tanque de ping\u00fcinos del acuario \u201cSumida Aquarium\u201d, cerca de la Tokyo Skytree. La c\u00e1mara apunta hacia arriba, como si estuvieras mirando a los ping\u00fcinos desde dentro del agua. Y desde ese \u00e1ngulo ocurre algo extra\u00f1\u00edsimo: \u00a1el cuello desaparece!<\/p>\n<h3>F\u00edsica dentro del acuario Sumida<\/h3>\n<p>Hace poco visit\u00e9 el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sumida-aquarium.com\/\">Sumida Aquarium<\/a>. Una de sus grandes atracciones es el gigantesco tanque interior de ping\u00fcinos. Desde el segundo piso puedes mirar el tanque desde arriba.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"20130804131400\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com\/images\/fotolife\/k\/kkuwako\/20130804\/20130804131400.jpg\" alt=\"20130804131400\" width=\"473\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Desde arriba se ve claramente el fondo azul del tanque.<\/p>\n<p>Luego bajas al primer piso y puedes observar a los ping\u00fcinos desde abajo, literalmente con \u201cvisi\u00f3n submarina\u201d. Ese es justamente el video del comienzo.<\/p>\n<p>Pero hay algo todav\u00eda m\u00e1s curioso. Cuando miras el tanque desde abajo aparece una escena muy rara:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"20130804133003\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com\/images\/fotolife\/k\/kkuwako\/20130804\/20130804133003.jpg\" alt=\"20130804133003\" width=\"477\" height=\"359\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Al mirar hacia arriba a trav\u00e9s del agua, el paisaje se divide claramente en dos zonas:<br \/>\nuna parte donde <b>s\u00ed puedes ver el exterior<\/b>, y otra donde <b>todo se vuelve azul y no se ve nada fuera<\/b>.<br \/>\nParece como si hubiera una \u201cventana\u201d flotando dentro del agua.<\/p>\n<p>El mismo fen\u00f3meno puede verse tambi\u00e9n en el acuario de Hakone-en. Mira este otro video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u30a2\u30b6\u30e9\u30b7\u306f\u4e38\u3044\u7a93\u304b\u3089\u30dc\u30af\u9054\u3092\u898b\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3010\u79d1\u5b66\u306e\u30cd\u30bf\u3011\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zcKa0wBtguU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>La parte azul que se ve en realidad es el color del concreto pintado en el fondo del tanque.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"font-size: 13px;\" title=\"20130812161531\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com\/images\/fotolife\/k\/kkuwako\/20130812\/20130812161531.jpg\" alt=\"20130812161531\" width=\"450\" height=\"340\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Entonces\u2026 \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 el mundo exterior parece recortado en forma circular?<br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 es exactamente esa l\u00ednea que separa ambas zonas?<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1La respuesta est\u00e1 en la reflexi\u00f3n total!<\/h3>\n<p>Este fen\u00f3meno tiene mucho que ver con la <b>refracci\u00f3n de la luz y la reflexi\u00f3n total interna<\/b>.<br \/>\nSi elevas un poco la mirada y observas el tanque en diagonal, puedes ver reflejada la luz del techo. La luz tiene una propiedad llamada \u201creversibilidad\u201d: siguiendo hacia atr\u00e1s el camino de la luz que entra a tus ojos, puedes saber de d\u00f3nde proviene.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-29908 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/78ea3a614c2c1e0a39d3f9ac9686ad3f.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"563\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/78ea3a614c2c1e0a39d3f9ac9686ad3f.png 800w, https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/78ea3a614c2c1e0a39d3f9ac9686ad3f-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/78ea3a614c2c1e0a39d3f9ac9686ad3f-768x508.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 563px) 100vw, 563px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Y si poco a poco bajas el \u00e1ngulo de visi\u00f3n, llega un momento en que la imagen cambia bruscamente: pasas de \u201cver el exterior\u201d a \u201csolo ver el azul del fondo\u201d.<br \/>\nEse \u00e1ngulo se llama <b>\u00e1ngulo cr\u00edtico<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Usando la <b>ley de Snell<\/b>, que se estudia en f\u00edsica de secundaria avanzada, podemos calcularlo. Si el \u00edndice de refracci\u00f3n del aire es aproximadamente 1 y el del agua 1.33, el \u00e1ngulo cr\u00edtico resulta ser de unos <b>48\u00b0<\/b>.<br \/>\n(Si eres estudiante, \u00a1prueba calcularlo t\u00fa mismo usando arcsin en una calculadora cient\u00edfica!)<\/p>\n<p>Eso significa que, desde dentro del agua, cuando miras en un \u00e1ngulo menor a 48\u00b0 respecto a la superficie, puedes ver el exterior.
