Maybe you\u2019ve even heard of accidents happening this way. This strange and slightly frightening phenomenon actually has a name: <b>the \u201ccollision course phenomenon.\u201d<\/b> The word \u201ccollision\u201d means exactly what it sounds like \u2014 a crash. For example, imagine you are driving north while another car is heading east.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Normally, since both vehicles are moving, you would expect to notice that they are getting closer.
