Nuestro cuerpo emite constantemente radiaci\u00f3n infrarroja invisible, pero el vidrio la bloquea.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando la radiaci\u00f3n infrarroja, que depende de la temperatura del objeto, llega al sensor, libera electrones en funci\u00f3n de su intensidad. Analizando esa cantidad, el sistema colorea las zonas m\u00e1s calientes en rojo y las m\u00e1s fr\u00edas en azul, permiti\u00e9ndonos \u201cver\u201d el calor.<\/p>\n<h3>La huella t\u00e9rmica de una simple goma de borrar<\/h3>\n<p>Con esta c\u00e1mara tambi\u00e9n podemos descubrir cambios de energ\u00eda ocultos en acciones cotidianas. Veamos c\u00f3mo la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica se transforma en calor por fricci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Se coloca una bola de plomo dentro de una c\u00e1psula y se deja rodar por una pendiente. El enrojecimiento alrededor es simplemente el rastro del calor de mis manos al tocar la c\u00e1psula.<\/p>\n<p>Curiosamente, al principio prob\u00e9 con bolas de acero, pero como tienen una mayor capacidad calor\u00edfica, el cambio de temperatura era dif\u00edcil de notar. Por eso decid\u00ed comprar plomo, que se calienta m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente. Y vali\u00f3 totalmente la pena.<\/p>\n<h3>Tambi\u00e9n revela los misterios de los seres vivos<\/h3>\n<p>Esta c\u00e1mara tambi\u00e9n es fascinante para observar animales. Si apuntas a un anfibio o reptil, como una rana o un lagarto, ver\u00e1s que casi desaparecen en el fondo. Como su temperatura corporal depende del entorno, se confunden con el paisaje en la imagen t\u00e9rmica.<\/p>\n<p>La termograf\u00eda permite entender de forma intuitiva conceptos invisibles como el calor y la energ\u00eda. Es una herramienta educativa incre\u00edble. Me pareci\u00f3 tan interesante que termin\u00e9 compr\u00e1ndola con mi propio dinero. Aunque el precio sigue siendo un secreto para mi esposa\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Pero poder compartir esta sorpresa con mis estudiantes no tiene precio.<\/p>\n<p>Por cierto, esta c\u00e1mara detecta infrarrojo medio y lejano, pero el infrarrojo cercano, como el que usan los controles remotos, puede captarse con la c\u00e1mara de tu propio smartphone.
