Es un ejemplo perfecto de lo que llamamos gimnospermas, y es un ser vivo lleno de curiosidades. En la foto, puedes ver unas peque\u00f1as partes rojizas: son las flores femeninas del pino. Tienen un aspecto muy diferente a las flores con p\u00e9talos que solemos imaginar, \u00bfverdad? Esto no es casualidad: las pi\u00f1as tienen la incre\u00edble propiedad de abrirse cuando el ambiente est\u00e1 seco y cerrarse cuando hay humedad. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 lo hacen? Su objetivo es dispersar sus semillas lo m\u00e1s lejos posible. Si soltaran las semillas en un d\u00eda de lluvia, estas pesar\u00edan por el agua y caer\u00edan justo debajo del \u00e1rbol. Por eso, la pi\u00f1a espera a un d\u00eda seco y ventoso para abrirse, permitiendo que el viento transporte sus semillas a nuevos lugares. \u00a1Es como si tuvieran un sensor meteorol\u00f3gico de alta precisi\u00f3n!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Manos a la obra! Crea tu mini \u00e1rbol de Navidad con pi\u00f1as<\/h3>\n<p>Gracias a que las pi\u00f1as se abren tanto, sus escamas crean los huecos perfectos para colocar cuentas y decoraciones. Aprovecharemos esta forma natural para crear un adorno navide\u00f1o espectacular.
