En el mundo de la f\u00edsica, la sombra juega un papel fundamental para entender la realidad. Es ese movimiento r\u00edtmico, como el de una pesa que sube y baja colgada de un muelle.<\/p>\n<p>En realidad, este movimiento tan complejo se vuelve mucho m\u00e1s claro si lo vemos como una aplicaci\u00f3n del movimiento circular uniforme. Existe un s\u00edmbolo llamado \u03c9 (velocidad angular) que representa la rapidez del giro, pero entender c\u00f3mo se conecta eso con una oscilaci\u00f3n de arriba abajo solo con la imaginaci\u00f3n es bastante dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso, inspirado en los ingeniosos mecanismos de sombras de los programas de divulgaci\u00f3n, he preparado un experimento: vamos a iluminar una pelota que gira y observar su sombra desde un lateral. Primero, echa un vistazo a este v\u00eddeo. La sombra del movimiento circular y la sombra de la pesa que oscila se mueven de arriba abajo en perfecta sincron\u00eda, como si estuvieran conectadas por un hilo invisible.<\/p>\n<p>Esta es la esencia de la f\u00edsica: el movimiento arm\u00f3nico simple no es m\u00e1s que un movimiento circular visto de perfil. Una vez que comprendes esta conexi\u00f3n, la famosa \u03c9 de las f\u00f3rmulas deja de ser una letra aburrida para convertirse en el latido de la rotaci\u00f3n que controla el movimiento de la sombra.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Siente la emoci\u00f3n del laboratorio tambi\u00e9n en digital!<\/h3>\n<p>En mis clases, siempre busco esa sensaci\u00f3n de directo, realizando el experimento frente a los ojos de los alumnos. En este mundo tan digitalizado, la sorpresa de ver c\u00f3mo las sombras coinciden en vivo se queda grabada en la memoria. Para que cualquiera pueda experimentar esta emoci\u00f3n de forma sencilla, he creado un simulador con Scratch. Puedes probarlo t\u00fa mismo en la pantalla de abajo.
