Este experimento no es solo una simple mezcla; es fascinante porque permite ver c\u00f3mo los iones desaparecen de la soluci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del movimiento de la aguja de un amper\u00edmetro. Al graficar los datos, obtenemos una curva en forma de V sorprendentemente perfecta. \u00a1Aqu\u00ed les explico desde los trucos de preparaci\u00f3n hasta el emocionante final!<\/p>\n<h3>Preparaci\u00f3n previa: \u00a1El secreto est\u00e1 en el l\u00edquido transparente!<\/h3>\n<p> Comencemos con los preparativos. Una organizaci\u00f3n precisa es el primer paso para un experimento seguro y exitoso.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f3mo preparar la soluci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3xido de bario<\/p>\n<p>Una vez decidida la fecha de la clase, disuelvan una buena cantidad de hidr\u00f3xido de bario en agua y d\u00e9jenlo reposar tranquilamente durante unos d\u00edas. Lo que utilizaremos es el l\u00edquido transparente de la parte superior, llamado sobrenadante. Como el hidr\u00f3xido de bario es una base fuerte, es obligatorio usar gafas de protecci\u00f3n. Debido a que reacciona f\u00e1cilmente con el di\u00f3xido de carbono del aire formando una capa blanca (carbonato de bario), no conviene almacenarlo por mucho tiempo; es mejor prepararlo para cada experimento. Por ejemplo, si tienen 8 grupos y cada uno usa 5mL, necesitan 40mL. Se vuelve transparente y aparece una pel\u00edcula en la superficie.<\/p>\n<p>Ajuste del \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico (\u00a1Regla de oro de la diluci\u00f3n!)<\/p>\n<p>Ahora, preparemos el \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico. Hay una regla inquebrantable que deben seguir: JAM\u00c1S viertan agua sobre \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico concentrado. Esto genera un calor intenso que puede hacer que el l\u00edquido salte, lo cual es extremadamente peligroso. Sigan siempre el orden correcto: verter el \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico concentrado poco a poco sobre el agua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gu\u00eda de diluci\u00f3n (para 4 grupos): A\u00f1adan con cuidado 3mL de \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico concentrado a 51mL de agua, y luego diluyan esto 10 veces hasta obtener un total de 540mL (aprox. 0.1mol\/L).<\/p>\n<p> Coloquen unos 15mL en tubos de ensayo junto con una pipeta para que los alumnos puedan medirlo f\u00e1cilmente. Utilizamos la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n compacta Petit-X, pero cualquier fuente est\u00e1ndar funciona perfectamente.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Encendido! Ajuste del voltaje<\/h3>\n<p> Conecten la fuente y ajusten el voltaje a 5V para que fluya la corriente. El secreto est\u00e1 en la sal insoluble que se forma durante la reacci\u00f3n. Cuando el hidr\u00f3xido de bario y el \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico se encuentran, crean sulfato de bario, un precipitado blanco que no se disuelve en agua.<\/p>\n<p>Los iones que transportaban la electricidad en la soluci\u00f3n se unen para formar part\u00edculas s\u00f3lidas que caen al fondo. Al quedarse sin transportadores de carga (iones), la corriente deja de fluir. Si seguimos a\u00f1adiendo \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico, ahora habr\u00e1 un exceso de iones de dicho \u00e1cido, por lo que la corriente vuelve a circular. A diferencia de la reacci\u00f3n entre \u00e1cido clorh\u00eddrico e hidr\u00f3xido de sodio (cuya sal, el cloruro de sodio, s\u00ed es soluble), aqu\u00ed la clave es la insolubilidad del producto.<\/p>\n<h3>Reflexi\u00f3n final: La magia de la ciencia est\u00e1 en el cambio<\/h3>\n<p> Ver c\u00f3mo la corriente cae hacia el cero absoluto es una experiencia fascinante cada vez.
