Para m\u00ed, cada d\u00eda es un experimento.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/phys-edu.net\/wp\/?p=22745\">En la entrega anterior, usamos una bolsa para paraguas para descubrir por qu\u00e9 el cielo es azul y los atardeceres son rojos mediante la &#8220;dispersi\u00f3n de la luz&#8221;<\/a>. \u00a1Hoy vamos a desentra\u00f1ar el secreto de la fibra \u00f3ptica, esa infraestructura gigante que sostiene nuestro mundo moderno!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es exactamente la fibra \u00f3ptica?<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando menciono la palabra &#8220;fibra \u00f3ptica&#8221;, \u00bfqu\u00e9 es lo primero que les viene a la mente? Si les pregunto a mis alumnos en clase, por lo general suelen arrugar la frente y ladear la cabeza. Es normal, \u00a1despu\u00e9s de todo es algo que no se ve a simple vista! Es el coraz\u00f3n de nuestra sociedad actual: permite el internet de alta velocidad y ayuda a los m\u00e9dicos a examinar el cuerpo humano mediante endoscopios (como las c\u00e1maras g\u00e1stricas). Su secreto es un fen\u00f3meno llamado &#8220;<b>reflexi\u00f3n interna total<\/b>&#8220;, que permite atrapar la luz en su interior sin que se escape ni una sola gota.<\/p>\n<p>Parece magia, \u00bfverdad? \u00a1Pues vamos a recrear esta &#8220;magia&#8221; con nuestras propias manos usando una simple bolsa para paraguas!<\/p>\n<h3>Receta cient\u00edfica: \u00a1Fibra \u00f3ptica casera con una bolsa de paraguas!<\/h3>\n<p><b>Qu\u00e9 vas a necesitar:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Una pajita (popote) gruesa o una bolsa para paraguas (lo m\u00e1s transparente posible).<\/li>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Jab\u00f3n (el jab\u00f3n l\u00edquido de manos funciona genial, pero tambi\u00e9n sirve el de platos o sales de ba\u00f1o).<\/li>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Agua.<\/li>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Una linterna LED.<\/li>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Un puntero l\u00e1ser (\u00a1el protagonista de hoy!).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Paso a paso:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Llena la bolsa para paraguas con abundante agua. Luego, a\u00f1ade una cantidad &#8220;<b>\u00a1m\u00ednima!<\/b>&#8221; de jab\u00f3n. Empieza con solo <b>1 a 3 gotas<\/b>. Si te pasas, el experimento fallar\u00e1. Para crear min\u00fasculas part\u00edculas invisibles (llamadas <b>part\u00edculas coloidales<\/b>) flotando en el agua. Cuando el l\u00e1ser golpea estas part\u00edculas, la luz se dispersa en todas direcciones. Ver el fen\u00f3meno con tus propios ojos es lo que realmente enciende la chispa del inter\u00e9s por la f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n<p>Para el experimento, usa una bolsa de paraguas transparente (puedes pedir una en el supermercado un d\u00eda de lluvia, \u00a1pero no olvides pedir permiso!).
