En realidad, el coraz\u00f3n de esas centrales el\u00e9ctricas se esconde dentro de juguetes tan peque\u00f1os que caben en la palma de tu mano. Hoy les presento un experimento sorprendente para generar electricidad en un instante usando un &#8220;motor&#8221;, ese viejo conocido de los coches de radiocontrol y las manualidades. En el momento en que la bombilla se encienda como por arte de magia, \u00a1ser\u00e1n testigos de la &#8220;verdad cient\u00edfica&#8221; de c\u00f3mo la energ\u00eda se transforma ante sus ojos!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfEl motor y el generador son como gemelos?<\/h3>\n<p>Hace poco visit\u00e9 una exhibici\u00f3n de generadores en el Museo Nacional de Naturaleza y Ciencia. El dise\u00f1o permit\u00eda ver perfectamente el interior: al girar una manivela, el im\u00e1n central rotaba con fuerza. La respuesta est\u00e1 en el interior: imanes y bobinas.<\/p>\n<p>\uff11\uff0eComo motor (Electricidad \u2192 Movimiento): Cuando dejas pasar electricidad, la bobina crea un campo magn\u00e9tico que reacciona con los imanes fijos, haciendo que el eje gire y mueva tus juguetes.<\/p>\n<p>\uff12\uff0eComo generador (Movimiento \u2192 Electricidad): Por el contrario, si usas una fuerza externa para girar el eje, la bobina se mueve dentro del campo magn\u00e9tico de los imanes. Esto cambia el flujo magn\u00e9tico y, para compensar ese cambio, se genera una corriente el\u00e9ctrica. A este fen\u00f3meno lo llamamos inducci\u00f3n electromagn\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, casi toda la electricidad que usamos a diario se fabrica as\u00ed dentro de generadores gigantes. Ya sea con vapor en una central t\u00e9rmica o con el viento en una e\u00f3lica, el principio es el mismo: hacer girar un eje para crear energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Si desmontas un juguete viejo, siempre encontrar\u00e1s imanes y bobinas en su interior.
