Mi vida es un experimento constante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Desde que era ni\u00f1o, me sent\u00eda fascinado por los misterios de los imanes y la electricidad. Recuerdo especialmente la emoci\u00f3n que sent\u00eda al ver esa fuerza invisible capaz de mover objetos sin siquiera tocarlos. Un d\u00eda, cuando estaba en la secundaria, me top\u00e9 con una fotograf\u00eda que cambi\u00f3 mi destino en un libro de ciencias. En la imagen, una ni\u00f1a ten\u00eda las manos sobre una esfera plateada y su cabello estaba totalmente erizado hacia el cielo, como si se hubiera liberado de la gravedad.<\/p>\n<p>Al verla, solo pude pensar en mi h\u00e9roe de anime favorito: Son Goku. En ese momento me hice una promesa: \u00a1Alg\u00fan d\u00eda yo tambi\u00e9n me tomar\u00e9 una foto como un Super Saiyayin!<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Pasaron los a\u00f1os y, cuando estaba en la preparatoria, \u00a1por fin encontr\u00e9 el famoso generador de Van de Graaff en un rinc\u00f3n del laboratorio de f\u00edsica! Convenc\u00ed a mi profesor para que me dejara probarlo. Con el coraz\u00f3n a mil por hora, encend\u00ed el interruptor&#8230; pero, por m\u00e1s que lo intent\u00e9, mi pelo no se levant\u00f3. Solo sent\u00eda unos peque\u00f1os chispazos en las manos que me confirmaban que hab\u00eda corriente. En aquel entonces mi profesor no me explic\u00f3 el motivo, pero hoy entiendo que la raz\u00f3n era muy simple:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\"> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>Mi cabello era demasiado corto para vencer su propio peso y elevarse.<\/li>\n<p> \u00a0 <\/p>\n<li>No estaba lo suficientemente aislado del suelo.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p> La segunda raz\u00f3n fue la clave: toda la electricidad est\u00e1tica que acumulaba en mi cuerpo se escapaba hacia el suelo a trav\u00e9s de mis pies. La electricidad es como el agua: siempre busca el camino m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil para fluir. Mi cuerpo no era un balde para guardar energ\u00eda, sino un colador. Aun as\u00ed, aquel fracaso y la fuerza que sent\u00ed en mis manos fueron la chispa que encendi\u00f3 mi curiosidad cient\u00edfica. Estaba convencido de que, si lo hac\u00eda bien, \u00a1lograr\u00eda esa foto!<\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">\u00a1Cabello, el\u00e9vate hacia el cielo!<\/h3>\n<p> Hoy, como profesor de ciencias, tengo un generador de Van de Graaff a mi disposici\u00f3n todos los d\u00edas. Para cumplir aquel sue\u00f1o de la infancia, me puse a investigar y a experimentar una y otra vez. \u00bfC\u00f3mo acumular electricidad de forma eficiente? \u00bfQu\u00e9 material funciona mejor como aislante? Despu\u00e9s de probar varios estilos, descubr\u00ed que la mejor opci\u00f3n es el corte tipo bob.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 un bob? Porque cada pelo es ligero. Cuando el generador carga tu cuerpo con electricidad est\u00e1tica, cada cabello adquiere el mismo tipo de carga. Al igual que los polos iguales de los imanes se repelen, los cabellos cargados negativamente se dicen entre s\u00ed: \u00a1Al\u00e9jate de m\u00ed!. Esta fuerza de repulsi\u00f3n es la que levanta el pelo contra la gravedad, pero si el cabello es muy largo y pesado, se necesita much\u00edsima m\u00e1s energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Un estilo bob corto y ligero es ideal para que la fuerza est\u00e1tica lo eleve con facilidad.<\/p>\n<h3>Paso 2: Crear la plataforma aislante definitiva<\/h3>\n<p> La clave del \u00e9xito es la plataforma que evita que la electricidad se escape al suelo. El cuerpo humano y el suelo son conductores. Por eso, si tocas el generador sin protecci\u00f3n, la energ\u00eda fluye directo a tierra. Al separarte f\u00edsicamente del suelo con aislantes como el pl\u00e1stico o la goma, tu cuerpo finalmente puede actuar como una bater\u00eda que almacena la carga.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1A la acci\u00f3n! Convi\u00e9rtete en uno con la est\u00e1tica<\/h3>\n<p> Una vez listo, ponte la peluca y s\u00fabete a la plataforma aislante.
