Te sorprender\u00eda saber que en esos paisajes cotidianos se esconden <b>patrones geom\u00e9tricos fascinantes<\/b>. Nuestro mundo est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado bajo reglas matem\u00e1ticas invisibles que crean formas hermosas. Hoy vamos a descubrir un fen\u00f3meno sorprendente: las travesuras de las ondas en nuestra vida diaria.<\/p>\n<h3>Observemos el lienzo de la naturaleza<\/h3>\n<p>Primero, observemos c\u00f3mo se comportan las ondas. En el mar, las olas se vuelven muy complejas al acercarse a la orilla; debido a que el agua es menos profunda, las ondas traseras alcanzan a las delanteras y su forma se rompe. Es un proceso lleno de variables.<\/p>\n<p>Para entenderlo mejor, veamos este aparato del Museo Nacional de Naturaleza y Ciencia. As\u00ed es como se ve el movimiento en una sola dimensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>Interferencia: la geometr\u00eda del agua<\/h3>\n<p>Ahora, veamos qu\u00e9 sucede en la superficie del agua, es decir, en dos dimensiones. Cuando varias ondas se cruzan, crean lo que llamamos un <b>patr\u00f3n de interferencia<\/b>. Vamos a observarlo en el siguiente video. Cuando dos ondas se encuentran, en los puntos donde coinciden una cresta (la parte alta) y un valle (la parte baja), las ondas se anulan entre s\u00ed y el agua deja de moverse. Recuerdo una vez que grab\u00e9 ondas con mis alumnos en un r\u00edo; cuando ese fen\u00f3meno que solo conoc\u00edan por los libros apareci\u00f3 de repente frente a sus ojos, sus miradas se iluminaron de emoci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Te invito a que lo intentes la pr\u00f3xima vez que vayas a un r\u00edo o un estanque. Es muy f\u00e1cil: solo tienes que lanzar <b>dos piedras al mismo tiempo<\/b> al agua. Cuando los c\u00edrculos que se expanden se encuentren, ver\u00e1s aparecer esas misteriosas l\u00edneas. A decir verdad, los ni\u00f1os suelen ser mejores que los adultos encontrando estos <b>secretos matem\u00e1ticos de la naturaleza<\/b>.
