La naturaleza est\u00e1 tejida por hilos invisibles y complejos; basta con que una sola especie aumente o disminuya demasiado para que el mundo entero cambie de forma radical.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy vamos a explorar el fascinante <b>equilibrio del ecosistema<\/b> a trav\u00e9s de un laboratorio digital donde t\u00fa tienes el control. \u00a1Prep\u00e1rate para vivir el drama oculto detr\u00e1s de las cadenas tr\u00f3ficas que estudiamos en clase de ciencias mediante simulaciones interactivas!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Vida en bits! La cadena alimentaria en el mundo digital<\/h3>\n<p>El equilibrio natural es algo sumamente complejo y asombroso. Sin embargo, no podemos ir a un bosque real y decir: &#8220;\u00a1Vamos a ver qu\u00e9 pasa si a\u00f1adimos 100 osos hoy!&#8221;. Ser\u00eda un desastre. Por eso, las <b>herramientas de simulaci\u00f3n<\/b> para ordenador o tablet son tan \u00fatiles. He seleccionado dos sitios web especialmente interesantes para experimentar.<\/p>\n<p>El primero es un proyecto creado en <b>Scratch<\/b>, la plataforma que muchos ya conoc\u00e9is por las clases de programaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/projects\/713339396\">Sitio de Scratch<\/a><\/p>\n<p>En esta simulaci\u00f3n aparecen tres protagonistas: la hierba, los conejos y los osos. Si aumentas el n\u00famero de lobos, ver\u00e1s que las cifras fluct\u00faan como ondas hasta alcanzar un <b>equilibrio exquisito<\/b>. Lo m\u00e1s incre\u00edble es la <b>resiliencia<\/b> de la naturaleza: aunque los lobos disminuyan dr\u00e1sticamente en un momento dado, al haber m\u00e1s conejos disponibles, la poblaci\u00f3n de lobos tiende a recuperarse. El mundo natural posee mecanismos de ajuste muy potentes para mantener la estabilidad frente a peque\u00f1os cambios.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfY si desaparecen los superdepredadores?<\/h3>\n<p>Os planteo un reto: \u00bfqu\u00e9 cre\u00e9is que pasar\u00eda si eliminamos por completo a los lobos o a los osos?<\/p>\n<p>Podr\u00edas pensar: &#8220;Sin enemigos, los conejos ser\u00e1n felices, \u00bfverdad?&#8221;. Pero al ejecutar la simulaci\u00f3n, el final es inesperado. Los conejos se multiplican tanto que terminan devorando toda la hierba hasta la ra\u00edz, convirtiendo el mundo en un <b>desierto sin biodiversidad<\/b> donde al final nada puede sobrevivir. Gracias a los grandes depredadores, se evita que las especies de abajo crezcan descontroladamente, protegiendo as\u00ed la vegetaci\u00f3n y la vida en su conjunto.<\/p>\n<p>El equilibrio del ecosistema es tan delicado que la falta de una sola pieza puede causar un efecto domin\u00f3 en todo el planeta.
