Experimento de interferencia l\u00e1ser con un CD reciclado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Soy Ken Kuwako, tu entrenador de ciencia. \u00a1La vida es un experimento constante!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00bfTe sorprender\u00eda saber que ese CD que usabas para escuchar m\u00fasica es, en realidad, un sofisticado &#8220;laboratorio de luz&#8221;? Aunque hoy en d\u00eda el streaming domina, el CD que duerme en tu estanter\u00eda es un tesoro que te permite experimentar f\u00e1cilmente las maravillas de la f\u00edsica. Hoy te voy a mostrar un experimento que parece magia: usar un CD para multiplicar un solo rayo l\u00e1ser en muchos haces de luz.<\/p>\n<p>Al inclinar un CD, ves esos brillos de arco\u00edris, pero si te fijas bien, el disco en s\u00ed no tiene color. La verdad es que la superficie del CD est\u00e1 cubierta de &#8220;surcos&#8221; (pistas) incre\u00edblemente finos e invisibles a simple vista. La luz que se refleja en estos surcos produce un fen\u00f3meno llamado &#8220;interferencia&#8221;, y esa es la raz\u00f3n por la que el arco\u00edris llega a nuestros ojos.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy vamos a extraer de ese CD un componente especial llamado &#8220;red de difracci\u00f3n&#8221; para observar la interferencia de la luz. Me lo ense\u00f1\u00f3 el profesor I de mi escuela y, cuando lo prob\u00e9, me qued\u00e9 asombrado por su profundidad cient\u00edfica. Adem\u00e1s, te dar\u00e9 una pista para construir tu propio &#8220;espectroscopio&#8221;, una herramienta que separa la luz.<\/p>\n<p>&#x1f52c; Receta cient\u00edfica: C\u00f3mo extraer la red de difracci\u00f3n que divide la luz<br \/>\nMateriales necesarios<br \/>\nCD-R (uno virgen o que ya no uses), tijeras.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9todo experimental<br \/>\nEl experimento es muy sencillo, aunque requiere un poquito de fuerza.<\/p>\n<p>Primero, corta el CD con unas tijeras resistentes. Por seguridad, usa un puntero l\u00e1ser comercial.<\/p>\n<p>Resultados del experimento: La raz\u00f3n por la que un rayo de luz &#8220;se multiplica&#8221;<br \/>\nCuando apuntas el l\u00e1ser, \u00a1mira qu\u00e9 maravilla! Esto sucede porque los innumerables surcos finos del CD reflejan y transmiten las ondas de luz en distintas direcciones. Las ondas de luz divididas se encuentran; en algunos lugares se &#8220;refuerzan&#8221; (interferencia constructiva) y en otros se &#8220;cancelan&#8221; (interferencia destructiva), haciendo que la luz intensa solo se proyecte en direcciones espec\u00edficas. Este es el fen\u00f3meno conocido como interferencia de la luz.<\/p>\n<p>Al aplicar este principio, puedes construir un &#8220;espectroscopio&#8221;, una herramienta para analizar qu\u00e9 colores se mezclan en la luz. Si miras la luz del sol o de una l\u00e1mpara fluorescente a trav\u00e9s de este trozo de CD, ver\u00e1s una hermosa escalera de arco\u00edris.<\/p>\n<p>Es divertido simplemente observar, pero el mundo de la ciencia se vuelve a\u00fan m\u00e1s profundo si te preguntas cosas como: &#8220;\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se divide la luz?&#8221; o &#8220;\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si el espacio entre los surcos cambiara?&#8221;.
