Observando este Wild Mini 4WD, me di cuenta de algo: sus grandes ruedas de goma son huecas por dentro y est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para deformarse y &#8220;agarrarse&#8221; al suelo, lo que aumenta la fuerza de fricci\u00f3n (fuerza de rozamiento). \u00a1En otras palabras, tienen un agarre incre\u00edblemente fuerte!&#8221;\u00a1Quiz\u00e1s esto podr\u00eda usarse para un experimento sobre la fuerza de fricci\u00f3n!&#8221;Con esa idea, compr\u00e9 dos y, despu\u00e9s de probar varias cosas, descubr\u00ed que pod\u00edamos realizar un experimento muy interesante que permite ver las leyes de la f\u00edsica con claridad. Hoy les presento una &#8220;receta cient\u00edfica&#8221; usando el Wild Mini 4WD.<\/p>\n<h3>Receta Cient\u00edfica<\/h3>\n<h3>Objetivo:<\/h3>\n<p>Hacer que dos Wild Mini 4WD compitan en un &#8220;tira y afloja&#8221; espalda con espalda. En este experimento, investigaremos qu\u00e9 Mini 4WD gana al cambiar los factores que afectan la fricci\u00f3n: el coeficiente de rozamiento (la rugosidad de la superficie) y la fuerza normal (el peso).<\/p>\n<h3>Materiales:<\/h3>\n<p>Wild Mini 4WD (2 unidades), hilo (como hilo de cometa), pesas (pueden ser naranjas u objetos similares), trapo de limpieza (bayeta), lija, base de pl\u00e1stico (salvamanteles o similar).<\/p>\n<h3>M\u00e9todo:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2460 Montar los dos Wild Mini 4WD. <strong>Punto Importante:<\/strong> Deben modificar la caja de pilas para que funcionen con una sola pila (1.5V), pasando un cable. El auto que est\u00e1 sobre la base de pl\u00e1stico resbaladiza pierde porque sus ruedas patinan, mientras que el que est\u00e1 sobre el trapo o la lija gana gracias a su mejor agarre. Adem\u00e1s, se observa claramente que el veh\u00edculo al que se le a\u00f1ade peso (como una naranja) se vuelve significativamente m\u00e1s fuerte en el tira y afloja.<\/p>\n<h3>La Ciencia detr\u00e1s del Experimento: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 gana el m\u00e1s &#8220;pesado&#8221;?<\/h3>\n<p>En muchos problemas de f\u00edsica de la escuela secundaria se suele dar la condici\u00f3n de que &#8220;la fricci\u00f3n es despreciable (se asume que no hay fricci\u00f3n)&#8221;. Por esta raz\u00f3n, mucha gente puede tener la imagen de que la fricci\u00f3n es un &#8220;villano&#8221; que simplemente impide el movimiento.Sin embargo, para un autom\u00f3vil o un Mini 4WD, la fuerza de fricci\u00f3n es la fuerza crucial que les permite avanzar (fuerza motriz). Es como intentar correr sobre hielo: se deslizan y no avanzan. El veh\u00edculo puede avanzar gracias a la fuerza de reacci\u00f3n que surge cuando el neum\u00e1tico agarra el suelo firmemente (es decir, cuando hay fricci\u00f3n). Si pones el Wild Mini 4WD en tu mano y lo enciendes, sentir\u00e1s la fuerza con la que la rueda patea tu piel. Esto representa lo resbaladiza que es la superficie. Al colocar el trapo o la lija, este valor aumenta, lo que incrementa la fuerza de fricci\u00f3n y permite ganar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>$N$ (ene): Fuerza Normal<\/strong>. Esta es la fuerza con la que el suelo soporta al objeto y, en superficies planas, es proporcional al peso. Sin embargo, al igual que en el sumo, en una competencia de empuje (o de tirar), el competidor m\u00e1s pesado es ventajoso porque puede agarrarse al suelo con m\u00e1s fuerza.
