Aunque no lo veamos, el movimiento de la aguja nos permite sentir que el aire ha disminuido y la presi\u00f3n ha bajado. \u00a1Es un momento muy interesante!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se inflan las bolsas de snacks? Se infl\u00f3 como un globo. Ahora bien, \u00bfa qu\u00e9 se debe este fen\u00f3meno?<\/p>\n<p>Normalmente, al nivel del suelo (1 atm\u00f3sfera), la bolsa de snacks mantiene el equilibrio gracias a que la &#8220;fuerza con la que el aire empuja desde dentro de la bolsa hacia afuera&#8221; y la &#8220;fuerza con la que el aire exterior (presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica) empuja la bolsa hacia adentro&#8221; est\u00e1n perfectamente equilibradas. Es como si dos fuerzas id\u00e9nticas estuvieran empujando una contra la otra.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, al extraer el aire circundante con la panera de vac\u00edo, solo la fuerza de empuje exterior (la presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica) se debilita dr\u00e1sticamente. \u00bfY qu\u00e9 pasa entonces? Pues que, como la fuerza que empuja de dentro hacia afuera sigue siendo la misma, la presi\u00f3n interior &#8220;gana la batalla&#8221; e infla la bolsa como un gran globo.<\/p>\n<h3>La monta\u00f1a, el espacio y nuestro cuerpo<\/h3>\n<p>Precisamente, este es exactamente el mismo principio que explica el &#8220;fen\u00f3meno de la bolsa de snacks que se infla en la cima de una monta\u00f1a&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Cuanto mayor es la altitud, m\u00e1s corta (y menos densa) es la columna de aire que tenemos sobre la cabeza, lo que significa que la presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica es menor. Por eso, si llevamos una bolsa de snacks sellada al nivel del mar, la fuerza de empuje exterior se debilita y la bolsa se infla sola.<\/p>\n<p>Este experimento es fascinante, ya que nos permite recrear de forma segura el entorno de una alta monta\u00f1a sin movernos del nivel del suelo.<\/p>\n<p>Si llevamos este principio al extremo, en el espacio exterior (pr\u00e1cticamente vac\u00edo = presi\u00f3n cero), la bolsa de snacks explotar\u00eda en un instante.<\/p>\n<p>Y si pensamos en algo m\u00e1s cotidiano, recuerda lo que ocurre cuando vuelas en avi\u00f3n. \u00bfNo notas que te pitan o se te tapan un poco los o\u00eddos al despegar y alcanzar la altitud de crucero? Eso tambi\u00e9n es una prueba de que nuestro cuerpo siente la diferencia entre la presi\u00f3n de 1 atm\u00f3sfera en la Tierra y la presi\u00f3n ligeramente reducida y ajustada de la cabina.
