Pero, \u00bfalguna vez te has detenido a observar detenidamente las &#8220;hojas&#8221; que sostienen a esa estrella una vez que las flores se caen? Podr\u00edas pensar: &#8220;Bah, es solo una hoja com\u00fan y corriente&#8221;. Sin embargo, esta hoja de cerezo tan ordinaria es el mejor &#8220;mapa del tesoro&#8221; para que un estudiante de primer a\u00f1o de secundaria se adentre en el mundo de la ciencia. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 una simple hoja verde es el tema perfecto para comenzar una clase de ciencias? Vamos a descubrir su secreto.<\/p>\n<h3>El mejor material did\u00e1ctico para desarrollar la &#8220;Capacidad de Observaci\u00f3n&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando empiezan mis clases de ciencias con alumnos de primer a\u00f1o de secundaria, lo primero que les pido es que hagan un &#8220;boceto&#8221; o &#8220;dibujo de observaci\u00f3n&#8221;. Esta es una oportunidad de oro para entrenar los fundamentos de la ciencia: &#8220;la observaci\u00f3n&#8221; y &#8220;el registro&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, es un hecho que la elecci\u00f3n del tema inicial puede marcar una gran diferencia en la &#8220;capacidad de observaci\u00f3n&#8221; y la &#8220;curiosidad&#8221; de los estudiantes. Los alumnos se sienten c\u00f3modos al pensar: &#8220;Ya lo he visto, debe ser f\u00e1cil&#8221;, y por eso es ideal como material de introducci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1No son solo unos bordes dentados! Una serie de peque\u00f1os interrogantes<\/h3>\n<p>Pero aqu\u00ed viene la parte interesante. Una vez que les pido que dibujen, los estudiantes empiezan a encontrarse con peque\u00f1os &#8220;descubrimientos&#8221; uno tras otro y se detienen. Por ejemplo, el borde dentado de la hoja. Parece una peque\u00f1a habichuela roja, y los estudiantes con buena capacidad de observaci\u00f3n lo notan de inmediato. Al realizar la tarea de &#8220;mirar detenidamente&#8221; a trav\u00e9s del boceto, se dan cuenta por primera vez de esta misteriosa bolita, y la pregunta &#8220;\u00bfQu\u00e9 es esto?&#8221; surge de forma natural. A partir de ah\u00ed, comienza la actividad de investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica: buscar informaci\u00f3n y formular hip\u00f3tesis.<\/p>\n<h3>La asombrosa estrategia de supervivencia: El cerezo &#8220;contrata&#8221; hormigas<\/h3>\n<p>En clase, no doy la respuesta de inmediato (les digo: &#8220;\u00a1Qu\u00e9 buena observaci\u00f3n! Invest\u00edgalo m\u00e1s tarde&#8221;). Sin embargo, como profesor, conocer la impresionante historia que hay detr\u00e1s de esto te permite transmitir la fascinaci\u00f3n de la ciencia con mayor profundidad. De hecho, este nectario extrafloral es la &#8220;recompensa&#8221; que el cerezo ofrece para &#8220;contratar guardaespaldas&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Del nectario sale n\u00e9ctar dulce. Las &#8220;hormigas&#8221; se sienten atra\u00eddas por \u00e9l y acuden. A cambio de la miel, cuando las hormigas detectan a un enemigo natural (como las orugas del g\u00e9nero Stauropus o similares) que viene a comerse la hoja de cerezo, \u00a1lo atacan y lo ahuyentan!<\/p>\n<p>El maravilloso drama de la naturaleza, llamado &#8220;simbiosis&#8221;, donde plantas e insectos se benefician mutuamente y se ayudan&#8230; \u00a1estaba oculto en esa peque\u00f1a bolita roja! Es maravilloso que se den cuenta de que el boceto no es solo dibujar, sino la puerta de entrada a la ciencia, generadora de descubrimientos y asombro.<\/p>\n<h3>Claves para la preparaci\u00f3n de la clase<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Materiales a utilizar: Una hoja fresca de cerezo (que no est\u00e9 mustia), recolectada preferiblemente ese mismo d\u00eda. Despu\u00e9s, compartan los descubrimientos que hayan hecho en clase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Antes de la observaci\u00f3n, reserva un tiempo para preguntar: &#8220;\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 podemos fijarnos?&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Para que todo fluya, indica unos cuantos puntos clave de observaci\u00f3n, como el borde de la hoja, las venas y la uni\u00f3n con el tallo.<\/li>\n<li>Si un alumno nota el nectario, al\u00e1balo diciendo &#8220;\u00a1Qu\u00e9 buena perspectiva!&#8221; y anima al resto a buscarlo. \u00a1Esto levantar\u00e1 el \u00e1nimo de toda la clase!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Busquemos dar una clase en la que los alumnos experimenten por s\u00ed mismos lo divertido que es &#8220;observar y dibujar&#8221;.
