Ensinn\u00e4kin polttoaineena toimiva etanoli muuttuu suihkeena sumuksi. Kun se on hienona sumuna, sen kosketuspinta ilman (hapen) kanssa kasvaa valtavasti, jolloin se voi levit\u00e4 ja palaa v\u00e4litt\u00f6m\u00e4sti. Toinen syy on se, ett\u00e4 metallipartikkelit levi\u00e4v\u00e4t tasaisesti liekkiin. Lastalla poltettaessa metalli on kasana, mutta suihkeella hienot partikkelit levi\u00e4v\u00e4t koko liekin alueelle, jolloin v\u00e4ri n\u00e4kyy eritt\u00e4in kirkkaasti ja kauniisti.<\/p>\n<h3>T\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 huomioitavaa (N\u00e4m\u00e4 on ehdottomasti noudatettava!)<\/h3>\n<p>T\u00e4m\u00e4 koe on eritt\u00e4in kaunis ja hauska, mutta koska siin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n tulta ja alkoholia, se voi olla eritt\u00e4in vaarallinen, jos tehd\u00e4\u00e4n virhe.
