El secreto se esconde en el deseo ardiente de los metales por convertirse en iones, es decir, en su &#8220;facilidad para ionizarse&#8221;.\u00a1Hoy les presento un experimento ecol\u00f3gico que nos permitir\u00e1 medir la &#8220;seriedad&#8221; de este deseo invisible en los metales, y que puede realizarse a microescala (s\u00faper compacto)! La clave est\u00e1 en usar &#8220;poca cantidad de reactivos, una gran visibilidad y seguridad&#8221;. Lo mejor es que es f\u00e1cil de entender para estudiantes de secundaria y requiere muy poca preparaci\u00f3n. Tanto a los que aman la qu\u00edmica como a los que piensan &#8220;quiz\u00e1s se me da un poco mal&#8230;&#8221; \u00a1el cambio de colores les fascinar\u00e1!Puede que el concepto de &#8220;el metal se convierte en ion en una soluci\u00f3n acuosa&#8221; no sea muy intuitivo, pero al ver el cambio dram\u00e1tico de color del metal o c\u00f3mo el azul de la soluci\u00f3n desaparece, \u00a1podr\u00e1n decir &#8220;ah, claro, es esto&#8221;! Es un poco m\u00e1s t\u00e9cnico, as\u00ed que es una nota para los profesores.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f3mo hacer la soluci\u00f3n de sulfato de cobre (3%): Disolver 4.9 g de sulfato de cobre (II) pentahidratado ($CuSO_4 \\cdot 5H_2O$) en 100 g de agua.C\u00f3mo hacer la soluci\u00f3n de sulfato de zinc (3%): Disolver 5.6 g de sulfato de zinc heptahidratado ($ZnSO_4 \\cdot 7H_2O$) en 100 g de agua.C\u00f3mo hacer la soluci\u00f3n de sulfato de magnesio (3%): Disolver 6.5 g de sulfato de magnesio heptahidratado ($MgSO_4 \\cdot 7H_2O$) en 100 g de agua.<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\">Con el m\u00e9todo anterior, se obtiene aproximadamente 100 g de soluci\u00f3n. Al verter esto en los &#8220;petit bottles&#8221; (de 10 mL), se llenan unas 10 botellas (m\u00e1s 1 extra), lo que es la cantidad perfecta si se trabaja con 10 grupos.<\/div>\n<h3>Pasos del Experimento<\/h3>\n<p>Preparaci\u00f3n de las placas de metalLije suavemente cada placa de metal para devolverle su brillo superficial. Esto elimina la capa de \u00f3xido (\u00f3xido, etc.) y revela la &#8220;cara real&#8221; del metal, lo que hace que la reacci\u00f3n se produzca mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente.Colocar los metales en la microplacaColoque trozos de los 3 tipos de metal en cada celda (los peque\u00f1os pocillos) de la placa. Esto demuestra que el magnesio es el que m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente libera electrones y se ioniza.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusi\u00f3n y Consejos para el Aula<\/h3>\n<p>El experimento a microescala combina tres ventajas: ocupa poco espacio, es de bajo costo y es seguro.
