En realidad, est\u00e1n mucho m\u00e1s cerca de lo que piensas. Por ejemplo, la escarcha que se forma en las ventanas en invierno, los copos de nieve, e incluso el az\u00facar y la sal de tu mesa son peque\u00f1os cristales. Pero, \u00bfcu\u00e1ntas veces te has detenido a pensar c\u00f3mo se forman exactamente? &#x1f914;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>El experimento que presentamos hoy, la &#8220;Recristalizaci\u00f3n&#8221;, se aborda en el \u00e1rea de Qu\u00edmica de primer a\u00f1o de secundaria y es una actividad emocionante que te permite crear con tus propias manos cristales que rara vez notamos a nuestro alrededor. Aprenderemos c\u00f3mo obtener cristales, en particular, utilizando nitrato de potasio y cloruro de sodio (sal com\u00fan). A trav\u00e9s de este experimento, podr\u00e1s comprender mejor las propiedades de las sustancias al sentir el efecto de la solubilidad y la temperatura. <span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u00a1Veamos el m\u00e9todo paso a paso!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><b style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Procedimiento del Experimento<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b style=\"font-size: 14px;\">\u24ea Preparaci\u00f3n Previa<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Colocamos 3 g de sal com\u00fan (etiqueta roja) y 3 g de nitrato de potasio (etiqueta azul) en un papel de pesaje y los guardamos en sendos tubos de ensayo.<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> Pesar previamente la sal com\u00fan y el nitrato de potasio en el papel de pesaje nos ayuda a ahorrar tiempo. Le ped\u00ed a mi asistente de laboratorio que lo hiciera por adelantado. Luego, los sumergimos en un vaso de precipitados con agua caliente y los agitamos suavemente para mezclar bien (indiqu\u00e9 que el nitrato de potasio fuera en el tubo con etiqueta azul y el cloruro de sodio en el de etiqueta roja). Hay estudiantes que tienen dificultad para medir los 5 mL con la pipeta. Les a\u00f1adimos m\u00e1s agua caliente, pero hay que tener cuidado ya que este experimento utiliza los 50 minutos de clase completos.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> Si despu\u00e9s de un tiempo no se ha disuelto todo, transferimos el sobrenadante (la parte disuelta) a otro tubo de ensayo (etiquetado en verde) en una cantidad de<\/span><b style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> aproximadamente 2 mL<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u2461 Enfriar la Soluci\u00f3n y Observar<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Una vez que el tubo azul (nitrato de potasio) se haya disuelto por completo, o incluso si queda algo sin disolver en el tubo rojo (cloruro de sodio), colocamos ambos tubos de ensayo dentro de un vaso de precipitados con agua fr\u00eda para enfriarlos. Y entonces&#8230; \u00a1la sustancia disuelta (el soluto) en el nitrato de potasio comenzar\u00e1 a aparecer como cristales! Una vez que aparezcan los cristales, colocamos el tubo en la rejilla de soporte y observamos el fen\u00f3meno. Aunque podr\u00edamos observarlos de inmediato, queremos ver tambi\u00e9n los cristales de sal com\u00fan, as\u00ed que dividimos la soluci\u00f3n en dos partes: una la dejamos evaporar por secado natural y la otra la calentamos hasta la ebullici\u00f3n para evaporar el agua r\u00e1pidamente.
