Pues no, este fen\u00f3meno es, de hecho, un aut\u00e9ntico truco de magia cient\u00edfica que utiliza la &#8220;fuerza del aire&#8221;, no la fuerza bruta. \u00a1Hoy, vamos a desvelar el secreto de este experimento sorprendente desde una perspectiva cient\u00edfica!<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Una imagen vale m\u00e1s que mil palabras! Aunque normalmente no la notamos, el aire que rodea la Tierra tiene peso. Debido al peso de este aire, estamos siendo empujados constantemente desde todas las direcciones. \u00a1Esa es la verdadera identidad de la presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica! \u00a1Su fuerza es de, ni m\u00e1s ni menos, que unos <b>10.000 kilogramos (10 toneladas) por metro cuadrado<\/b>! Para que te hagas una idea, \u00a1es como si el peso de <b>dos elefantes<\/b> estuviera sobre tu espalda!<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00a1Con tanta presi\u00f3n, deber\u00edamos quedar aplastados!\u201d Lo s\u00e9, pero no te preocupes. Como nuestros cuerpos tambi\u00e9n empujan hacia afuera con la misma fuerza, podemos vivir sin siquiera darnos cuenta de esta presi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 se rompe el palillo cuando lo cubrimos con el peri\u00f3dico? En el momento en que golpeas el palillo, este intenta levantar el peri\u00f3dico. Sin embargo, una cantidad enorme de aire est\u00e1 &#8220;sentada&#8221; sobre el peri\u00f3dico extendido. Cuando golpeas r\u00e1pidamente, el aire que est\u00e1 sobre el peri\u00f3dico no tiene tiempo de &#8220;apartarse&#8221; o moverse.<\/p>\n<p>Como resultado, la &#8220;presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica&#8221;\u2014una gigantesca mano invisible que act\u00faa sobre la gran superficie del peri\u00f3dico\u2014ejerce una presi\u00f3n potente por un instante, evitando que el peri\u00f3dico se levante.
