El misterioso y caprichoso &#8220;Motor de Moore&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Ese molesto &#8220;\u00a1Zas!&#8221; que sientes al tocar un pomo en invierno, o el pelo que se te eriza al quitarte el jersey&#8230; \u00a1es la electricidad est\u00e1tica! \u00bfTe imaginas que este peque\u00f1o y fastidioso fen\u00f3meno tenga el poder de impulsar un motor? Pues s\u00ed, lo tiene.<\/p>\n<p>Hoy te presento el incre\u00edble &#8220;Motor de Moore&#8221;. Un aparato que, \u00a1solo con la fuerza de la est\u00e1tica!, hace rodar una bolita sobre un plato en trayectorias misteriosas. Parece tener vida propia: a veces gira en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, se detiene de golpe y \u00a1empieza a girar al rev\u00e9s! Su movimiento es tan impredecible que no te cansar\u00e1s de verlo.<\/p>\n<p>Para empezar, mira este v\u00eddeo con su peculiar y simp\u00e1tico movimiento. El mecanismo detr\u00e1s de la magia de la est\u00e1tica<\/h3>\n<p>El secreto de su movimiento se basa en dos leyes fundamentales de la electrost\u00e1tica: la &#8220;Fuerza de Coulomb&#8221; y la &#8220;Inducci\u00f3n Electrost\u00e1tica&#8221;. \u00a1No te asustes por los nombres! Es m\u00e1s simple de lo que parece. Piensa en imanes: el Norte y el Sur se atraen. Con la electricidad pasa algo similar, con cargas positivas (+) y negativas (-). La regla es sencilla: &#8220;cargas opuestas (+ y -) se atraen, y cargas iguales (+ y + o &#8211; y -) se repelen&#8221;. Se carga negativamente, se repele y se dirige a la franja positiva de al lado&#8230; \u00a1y el ciclo se repite!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Al repetir sin fin este &#8220;juego de relevos el\u00e9ctrico&#8221; de &#8220;ser atra\u00edda \u2192 tocar y repelerse \u2192 ser atra\u00edda por el vecino&#8221;, la bola mantiene su rotaci\u00f3n. Debido a que se mueve en un equilibrio tan delicado, cualquier peque\u00f1a alteraci\u00f3n puede cambiar la direcci\u00f3n o hacer que vaya y venga, dando lugar a ese movimiento tan caprichoso.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a1Manos a la obra! La receta del motor caprichoso<\/h3>\n<h4>Materiales que necesitas<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Un plato aislante: Es fundamental que no conduzca la electricidad. Lija suavemente la superficie para que la tinta china se adhiera mejor.
