Para muchos, la &#8220;electricidad est\u00e1tica&#8221; no es m\u00e1s que una molestia juguetona. Pero, \u00bfy si esa peque\u00f1a chispa escondiera una <b>energ\u00eda incre\u00edblemente poderosa<\/b>&#8230;?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Aunque te parezca incre\u00edble, es totalmente cierto! La &#8220;Hora Pico&#8221; de los electrones negativos<\/h3>\n<p>La clave de este fen\u00f3meno reside en la esencia de la electricidad est\u00e1tica: los <b>&#8220;electrones (-)&#8221;<\/b>. Al encender el Van de Graaff, el aparato concentra una enorme cantidad de <b>carga negativa (electrones)<\/b> en su esfera met\u00e1lica. Las bolitas de poliestireno que est\u00e1n encima tambi\u00e9n reciben progresivamente esa carga negativa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfY qu\u00e9 sucede entonces? Cada una de las bolitas queda cargada con el mismo tipo de <b>electricidad negativa<\/b>. La electricidad tiene una regla fundamental: <b>&#8220;las cargas del mismo tipo se repelen&#8221;<\/b>. Atiborradas de carga negativa, las bolitas de poliestireno se gritan mutuamente &#8220;\u00a1Ya no cabemos, al\u00e9jate!&#8221; y se empujan. Cuando esta fuerza de empuje alcanza su punto m\u00e1ximo, \u00a1salen disparadas al un\u00edsono! Esta es la verdadera causa de la &#8220;erupci\u00f3n est\u00e1tica&#8221;. La forma en que se dispersan radialmente es impresionante; es como si pudi\u00e9ramos ver las l\u00edneas de fuerza el\u00e9ctrica de la repulsi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfAtracci\u00f3n y luego Escape? Primero se repele, y ahora se atrae. Pero si observas con atenci\u00f3n, ver\u00e1s que la bolita, despu\u00e9s de pegarse a la esfera, \u00a1vuelve a salir disparada! \u00bfA qu\u00e9 se debe esto? La causa es un fen\u00f3meno llamado <b>&#8220;Inducci\u00f3n Electrost\u00e1tica&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>La gran carga negativa (-) del Van de Graaff empuja a los electrones (-) que est\u00e1n dentro del poliestireno que se acerca, grit\u00e1ndoles: &#8220;\u00a1Fuera de aqu\u00ed!&#8221;. Como resultado, el lado del poliestireno m\u00e1s cercano al generador queda con una carga neta <b>positiva (+)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>La electricidad tiene otra regla: <b>&#8220;las cargas de diferente tipo se atraen&#8221;<\/b>. El negativo (-) del Van de Graaff y el positivo (+) del poliestireno se atraen, haciendo que se peguen.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, en el instante en que se tocan, una avalancha de carga negativa (-) fluye desde el generador hacia el poliestireno, \u00a1carg\u00e1ndolo tambi\u00e9n de forma negativa (-)! Al tener de nuevo <b>cargas del mismo tipo<\/b>, se repelen y la bolita sale volando. Esta constante de atracci\u00f3n y repulsi\u00f3n, es como contemplar el lado &#8220;tsundere&#8221; (c\u00e1lido y fr\u00edo) de la electricidad. \u00a1Es fascinante!<\/p>\n<h3>El Generador de Electricidad Est\u00e1tica (Van de Graaff): \u00a1Un Tesoro de la Ciencia!<\/h3>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de estos, hay muchos otros experimentos divertidos que puedes hacer con el generador de Van de Graaff.
