En esta ocasi\u00f3n, me he atrevido con uno de los experimentos de ciencia m\u00e1s populares: \u00a1el &#8220;Experimento de la Fuente de Amon\u00edaco&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>La preparaci\u00f3n del experimento es sencilla. Mezclamos y calentamos dos tipos de polvos blancos, el cloruro de amonio (NH<br \/>\n4<br \/>\n\u200b<br \/>\n Cl) y el hidr\u00f3xido de calcio (Ca(OH)<br \/>\n2<br \/>\n\u200b<br \/>\n ), para generar gas amon\u00edaco (NH<br \/>\n3<br \/>\n\u200b<br \/>\n ). Mezclar los Reactivos<br \/>\nTomar 3g de cloruro de amonio y 3g de hidr\u00f3xido de calcio y mezclarlos bien. En este momento, utilice gafas de protecci\u00f3n obligatoriamente.<\/p>\n<p>2. Pero, \u00bfno les parece extra\u00f1o?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el agua simple se vuelve rosa?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Y, para empezar, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 el agua es absorbida por s\u00ed misma?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>El secreto se esconde en la asombrosa propiedad del amon\u00edaco. Resulta que el amon\u00edaco tiene la caracter\u00edstica de ser &#8220;extremadamente soluble en agua&#8221;. Al introducir un poco de agua con el cuentagotas conectado a la boca del matraz (a esto se le llama &#8220;agua de cebado&#8221;), el amon\u00edaco dentro del matraz se disuelve instant\u00e1neamente en ella. Esto se debe a que de antemano se hab\u00eda mezclado un indicador llamado &#8220;soluci\u00f3n de fenolftale\u00edna&#8221; en el agua del vaso de precipitados. La fenolftale\u00edna tiene la propiedad de cambiar a un color rosa brillante en reacci\u00f3n con l\u00edquidos alcalinos. El agua que ha disuelto amon\u00edaco se convierte en &#8220;agua amoniacal&#8221;, que es alcalina.
