F\u00f6rest\u00e4ll er en sumomatch mellan en gigantisk <\/span><b>elefant<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"> och en muskul\u00f6s <\/span><b>gorilla<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">. Pang! De dundrar in i varandra och elefanten trycker tillbaka gorillan. Den kraft som <b>elefanten ut\u00f6var p\u00e5 gorillan<\/b>, eller den kraft som <b>gorillan ut\u00f6var p\u00e5 elefanten<\/b>?<\/p>\n<p>\u201dElefanten \u00e4r ju starkare, s\u00e5 den kraft den ut\u00f6var borde v\u00e4l vara st\u00f6rre?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e4r nog m\u00e5nga av er som t\u00e4nker s\u00e5. Men v\u00e4nta lite! H\u00e4r finns en <b>h\u00e4ftig fallgrop<\/b> i fysiken, n\u00e5got vi s\u00e4llan t\u00e4nker p\u00e5 i vardagen och som m\u00e5nga blandar ihop. Det \u00e4r just det som \u00e4r dagens \u00e4mne: Newtons tredje lag.<\/p>\n<h3>Vad \u00e4r \u201dNewtons tredje lag\u201d?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Svaret \u00e4r att kraften fr\u00e5n elefanten p\u00e5 gorillan, och kraften fr\u00e5n gorillan p\u00e5 elefanten, <\/span><b>alltid \u00e4r lika stora<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">F\u00f6rv\u00e5nande, eller hur? Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r Newtons ber\u00f6mda tredje lag, ocks\u00e5 k\u00e4nd som lagen om verkan och motverkan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lagen lyder:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>&#8220;N\u00e4r ett f\u00f6rem\u00e5l A ut\u00f6var en kraft p\u00e5 ett f\u00f6rem\u00e5l B, s\u00e5 ut\u00f6var f\u00f6rem\u00e5l B en lika stor och motsatt riktad kraft p\u00e5 f\u00f6rem\u00e5l A.&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Enkelt uttryckt, \u201dom du trycker, blir du tillbakapressad\u201d och \u201dom du drar, blir du tillbakadragen\u201d. N\u00e4r du trycker p\u00e5 en v\u00e4gg, trycker v\u00e4ggen tillbaka p\u00e5 dig med samma kraft. Och n\u00e4r jorden drar oss med gravitation, drar vi tillbaka p\u00e5 jorden med en lika stor kraft (\u00e4ven om jordens massa \u00e4r s\u00e5 mycket st\u00f6rre att den inte m\u00e4rker n\u00e5got!).<\/p>\n<p>Tillbaka till sumomatchen: N\u00e4r elefanten ut\u00f6var en \u201dverkan\u201d-kraft p\u00e5 gorillan, ut\u00f6var gorillan en lika stor \u201dmotverkan\u201d-kraft tillbaka p\u00e5 elefanten.<\/p>\n<h3>Varf\u00f6r r\u00f6r sig elefanten d\u00e5? Och varf\u00f6r trycks gorillan bak\u00e5t?<\/h3>\n<p>\u201dMen l\u00e4rare, om krafterna \u00e4r lika stora, borde de inte st\u00e5 stilla? Elefanten trycker ju fram\u00e5t och gorillan backar, eller hur?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e4r en utm\u00e4rkt fr\u00e5ga! H\u00e4r \u00e4r det m\u00e5nga som blandar ihop lagen om verkan och motverkan med kraftj\u00e4mvikt.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lagen om verkan och motverkan: Beskriver ett \u201dkraftpar\u201d som verkar p\u00e5 <b>tv\u00e5 olika f\u00f6rem\u00e5l<\/b>. Kraften fr\u00e5n elefanten p\u00e5 gorillan och kraften fr\u00e5n gorillan p\u00e5 elefanten \u00e4r ett s\u00e5dant par.<\/li>\n<li>Kraftj\u00e4mvikt: Syftar p\u00e5 att flera krafter som verkar p\u00e5 <b>ett och samma f\u00f6rem\u00e5l<\/b> tar ut varandra, s\u00e5 att f\u00f6rem\u00e5let antingen st\u00e5r stilla eller r\u00f6r sig med konstant hastighet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Elefanten r\u00f6r sig fram\u00e5t eftersom kraften som verkar p\u00e5 elefanten, det vill s\u00e4ga friktionskraften mellan elefantens f\u00f6tter och marken, \u00e4r st\u00f6rre \u00e4n den kraft den blir tillbakapressad med av gorillan. Att s\u00e5dana fysikaliska lagar d\u00f6ljer sig i de mest vardagliga saker vi g\u00f6r?<\/p>\n<p>Elefant- och gorillaproblemet var ett utm\u00e4rkt exempel f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 grundl\u00e4ggande men djupa begrepp som verkan och motverkan och kraftj\u00e4mvikt.
