Yliopistokaverini O-kun n\u00e4ytti sen minulle ja sanoi, ett\u00e4 se oli matkamuisto maailman parhaalta teknilliselt\u00e4 yliopistolta, Massachusetts Institute of Technologylta (MIT).<\/p>\n<p>MIT on yliopisto, joka on tuottanut useita Nobel-palkinnon voittajia ja johon ker\u00e4\u00e4ntyv\u00e4t maailman nerokkaimmat ihmiset. Tunnistatko sen jostain? Se on Albert Einsteinin l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4 maailman kuuluisin kaava, E=mc2, muunneltuna.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e4m\u00e4 kaava osoittaa, ett\u00e4 &#8220;pieni m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 massaa (m) muuttuu uskomattoman valtavaksi energiaksi (E), kun se kerrotaan valon nopeuden (c) neli\u00f6ll\u00e4&#8221;. Ydinvoiman ja ydinaseiden periaatteet alkoivat t\u00e4st\u00e4 kaavasta. Se todellakin muutti maailmaa. Kun E=mc2 ratkaistaan m:n suhteen, saadaan m=E\/c2.<\/p>\n<p>Niinp\u00e4, ensimm\u00e4inen kirjain on&#8230; <strong>&#8220;m&#8221;<\/strong>! Oletko jo hoksannut? Toinen kaava on \u221a\u22121. Reaalilukuja ei ole olemassa, jotka kerrottuna itsell\u00e4\u00e4n antaisivat miinusmerkkisen luvun, eik\u00f6 totta? Niinp\u00e4 matemaatikot nimesiv\u00e4t t\u00e4m\u00e4n oudon luvun &#8220;imaginaariluvuksi&#8221; ja merkitsiv\u00e4t sen symbolilla &#8220;i&#8221;. T\u00e4m\u00e4n &#8220;kuvitteellisen luvun&#8221; ansiosta on mahdollista tehd\u00e4 huippuluokan tieteellisi\u00e4 laskelmia, kuten s\u00e4hk\u00f6piireiss\u00e4 ja kvanttifysiikassa. Se on todellakin tieteen tukipilari!<\/p>\n<p>Joten, toinen kirjain on <strong>&#8220;i&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Viimeinen kaava on PV\/nR. Se tulee lukion kemiasta ja fysiikasta tutusta &#8220;ideaalikaasun tilanyht\u00e4l\u00f6st\u00e4&#8221;, PV=nRT. Se on maaginen kaava, joka yhdist\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4kym\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4n kaasun olotilat, kuten paineen (P), tilavuuden (V), kaasun m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n (n) ja l\u00e4mp\u00f6tilan (T).<\/p>\n<p>Kun t\u00e4m\u00e4 yht\u00e4l\u00f6 ratkaistaan T:n suhteen, saadaan T=PV\/nR. Maailman parhaiden aivojen humoristinen puoli on n\u00e4in \u00e4lyk\u00e4s ja cool. Se sai minut nauramaan. Kaavat eiv\u00e4t ole vain symbolien kokoelma.
