The chopsticks break down into <span class=\"s2\"><b>charcoal<\/b><\/span>, <span class=\"s2\"><b>wood gas<\/b><\/span> (flammable gas), <span class=\"s2\"><b>wood tar<\/b><\/span> (a dark, sticky liquid), and <span class=\"s2\"><b>wood vinegar<\/b><\/span> (a yellow liquid).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Pack the chopsticks into a test tube. If you\u2019re not making charcoal yourself, you can use commercially available powdered charcoal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">This mixture is <span class=\"s2\"><b>black powder<\/b><\/span>, historically used in firearms such as matchlock guns.
